About Healiel
... ( I simply love dots).

Ignoring that, I obsess over anything out of the ordinary, and me tastes tend to reflect that. Aliens, time travel, walking volcanoes, tap-dancing birds... bring em on! Now the only thing I'm waiting for is a dragon that blows bubbles instead of fire.

Was that helpful? No? Objective accomplished.

Hello, nice to meet you too~ and you're welcome ^^
I found your profile on the reviews of the manga "Judge"
I rarely hear someone say to me that Natsume Yuujinchou was amazing, because the story is very simple but very touching, moreover, in the season 4~

glad to know you checked out warau kyuuketsuki and are enjoying it! another great horror mangaka i really dig is kazuo umezu - i just finished his god’s left hand, devil's right hand and my mind was suitably twisted by his surrealistic trip down the rabbit hole into hell and beyond it takes - he's truly on of the early and great masters of horror manga (he's been creating since the '60s)...great stuff! hope this finds you well.....later...............

glad you love maruo-san - i love to spread his genius to as many as possible as i think he deserves much more recognition, especially here in the west - thanks for friending me back - i really appreciate it!!! another lost gem of anime to check out that i love: gegege no kitaro (1968) - the original yokai story from based on the works of shigeru mizuki - manga's also amazing....

99% of everything has an interesting premise. Very few do something good with it.

ThatAnimeSnob | Mar 11, 2012 1:44 AM
The worst part about it is that it keeps the mystery from revealing by killing conviniently anyone who wants to reveal it. And the other characters pretend there is nothing strange and keep going to the school or to the beach to have fun. This is closer to a comedy than horror.

I had the exact opposite impression from Another than you did. It is a very interesting thing to talk about it if you like. Because I consider it a shameful addition to psychological horror.

"Another" nice review.

if you had trouble with umezu, i would recommend avoiding maruo - his stuff is much more heavy guro type, although very psychological, not just pure nastiness - my favorite of his, which i highly recommend, is warau kyuuketsuki - one of my favorite vampire tales ever, and definitely my favorite vampire manga.....also, i've heard the ova of gyo was pretty bad, although i haven't seen it - however, i have read some of the manga, and it is exceptional! you should also check out tomie by ito immediately - all great stuff!!!

liked yr. another review - i feel much the same about this truly amazing and beautiful anime - also a huge junji ito fan - uzumaki is amazing - ever checked out any of kazuo umezu's or suehiro maruo's manga? if you like really scary horror stuff that is edgy, they're two of my absolute favorites!
