After reading reviews for this, I've put this show off for a while. When I was finally in the mood for some Isekai trash, I gave it a watch and I'm genuinely surprised that this show gets so much hate.
On the surface, it has several things I typically dislike in Isekai. A bland, dark-haired teenager and a harem of girls that want his D. He is OP, but he's still learning how to do things and what skills he can use and the various problems he comes across use a variety of actions and abilities to solve. He doesn't just instantly save the day every time, even though we all know he will. As far as the harem goes, really only 1 of them is sex-crazed, most are just cute and dedicated to MC. The slavery aspect is a little problematic on paper, but overall it really doesn't matter much. MC doesn't really take advantage of it and only orders them around early on to make sure they do things that will help them.
Overall, what I particularly like about the show is how it does the skills and and video game aspects. It's not an afterthought and it makes some sense for how MC uses their skills. The show is also very slice of life focused with some villains and combat spread around here and there, which I like as it gives the show a chill pace.

Honestly, I think this show was alright. It's a fairly light-hearted adventure/slice of life about an adventuring company.
The story is fairly standard, there's a bit of a mystery with the MC's father and his own personal background. MC takes over his father's company as president and helps them stay afloat. Nothing out of this world, but nothing bad.
Characters aren't particularly well-developed, but they serve the story fine and are varied. The show has some commentary on work culture and what it means to be a good employer. It's not saying a ton about it, but it manages to keep it a theme throughout the show

in a reasonable way.
Art and Sound is all serviceable. The show it nice and colorful and has some interesting designs for monsters and world elements.
In the end of the day, I'd say it's perfectly watchable if a bit unmemorable. It's not an action-packed show with biting social commentary. It does what it does and it works fine. You could certainly do a lot worse.

I think the show was mostly ok. I just didn't find the jokes that funny.
The story follows a guy who is pretty bad at adventuring and healer elf girl who is just bad in general. They don't really develop much, most of the episodes are just a variety of situations meant to hang gags and jokes. YMMV on those jokes, but I found the humor rather repetitive by the end. The same stuff just kind of happens over and over again. The adventuring plots are varied and interesting ,but the humor tends to devolve into the same things. Most of it comes from the elf

girl misunderstanding things because she never listens to the guy or pays attention to anything. She's just kind of a selfish idiot who doesn't understand how the world works. In small does, that kind of humor can work, but it's the whole show.
I think the show is watchable if you like the type of humor in the first few episodes. I found the elf girl to be really annoying though and it hurt my enjoyment of the show. Maybe don't binge the show like I did, but watch 1 episode a week in-between other shows.

A lot of people say that the first 5 minutes of the show is not indicative of the full show and while that's mostly true in regards to directness of the content, the MC still fetishizes little sisters throughout the entire show, so you have to be prepared for that regardless of those first 5 minutes. For that reason, I have mixed feelings.
As a story about the LN authors and the world they live in, the show is fun and interesting. But the little sister stuff doesn't work for me, as well as the relationship between MC and the girl that loves him. They have

a rather contrived relationship that doesn't make much sense and doesn't get much development. It gets an explanation by the end for why things don't progress, but it's not really a satisfactory one, and honestly just feels like a hand-waved excuse from the writer to further drag it along.
Overall, I think it's ok. I was recommended it as a workplace comedy-romance story, but I don't think it met the mark I looking for and overly illogical ecchi moments didn't work for me.

This is a probably the most generic Isekai anime I've ever seen. Overpowered MC, Harem of girls that love him, generic fantasy world. All Check. If it did any of these things in a more interesting way, it'd be alright, but it really doesn't.
The premise of the MC getting transported to a world with their childhood friend is an interesting start, but it doesn't change anything. She's just another girl in the harem.
The biggest issue, is just that the show is kind of boring. There's a lot of characters and exposition, so nothing feels really dynamic or developed by the end. It just kind of

plods along.
The only thing I think they did in an interesting way was showing how the magic system worked with how the Childhood Friend develops her magic abilities. She visualizes the magic in a scientific way(chemical reactions and such). But this is only shown briefly and while interesting, it's just a brief explanation for but a moment.
I gave it a 6 and a mixed feelings because it's watchable. The art, animation and story is ok. It isn't actually awful to watch, it's just super generic and kind of boring.
If the show focused on the two earthlings instead of side-lining the friend, it could have been better.

I watched this Anime solely on reading the title and overall I enjoyed it, so here's a quick review.
From the outset, it seems to be a show about a Hero who quits/get's banished after defeating the demon bad guys and decides to join them as a sort of consultant in order to help them out and of course it turns out the "demons" aren't really that bad. The Hero, Leo, actually has a lot more going on that gets revealed late in the show, along with a good deal of the world-building. You get the show you think it is for the most part, but

then you get a big reveal/twist later that dives into Leo's motivations and his struggles about his general purpose in life that I personally found interesting, but YMMV as it's a bit of a tonal shift.
Some characters get decent development, some don't, but mostly the show focuses on one or two people at a time as well as a large focus on Leo as it goes on. Music and Animation are all fine.
Overall, I can see why some people would dislike it, although I feel some of the reviews I've read really don't know what they are talking about or didn't watch all of it. It's not an isekai. Hero is OP but that's a part of the story, so it shouldn't be a surprise or anything.
It isn't really a direct adventure show, it's more fantasy with some Slice of Life/Workplace feel, but with Action/Adventure elements.

I think, in general, most of the reviews here are fairly spot on with the issues the show has, but I do think it's very subjective in whether you'd find the issues unmanageable or not.
Overall, I'd recommend the show due to it's interesting world building and the general story. But there are a few pros and cons.
Story:
The story is generally set up into a couple small arcs:
Will's training amongst his 3 undead guardians.
His start into being an adventurer and helping people.
His reconciliation with the world versus how he wants to go about his own goals and becoming the Faraway Paladin.
The first arc is very good.

All the characters have interesting quirks and personalities and there's a lot of worldbuilding. And it ends with a fairly climactic battle and emotional ending.
The second arc, he meets a friend and starts helping people. For the most part, this is fine because it adds to the world building and begins to shows off Will's training and outlook on life. The biggest issue is that the people he meets and the general conflicts are somewhat less developed and feels somewhat run of the mill. At times it feels like Will's journey is getting truncated and skipped in some places. It seems like the story wants to get everyone moving along quickly.
The third arc is Will arriving in the big capital city and essentially learning more about he world and it's politics while trying to get help for the surrounding villages being attacked by demons. This brings in a lot of more exposition and world-building and starts to feel a little boring.
After the first arc, it seems like the story is mostly about Will's introspective thoughts and feelings about himself, his new friends and the world around him. While not inherently bad, it is a tonal shift somewhat to the beginning arc. The story really what you know Will, but unfortunately Will is a little boring. His is the apotheosis of the "Good Guy" hero character, and that's about it. He wants nothing but to help people in need. The biggest character development he gets is learning that he doesn't need to do it all on his own, but the show only spends like 5 minutes on it near the end.
Characters:
Will is really the only character who gets much development and he doesn't really develop into an interesting character. Some reviews keep calling him an idiot for some reason, but this feels pretty off the mark. I'd sooner call him naïve and inexperienced to some degree. Due to his upbringing, he doesn't know much about the world as it is today and never had a chance to make friends, so he struggles with those aspects in his new life and is somewhat unsure of himself. This is also coupled with his previous life, since it is an isekai, where he was a shut-in. He certainly isn't stupid, just learning to be open and trying to figure out the new world. Some people have also said he's OP and while he sort of it is, he actually does struggle with doing the correct thing and it's not like every fight is a cake walk or anything, so I think that point is a little overblown.
Other characters aren't as developed overall. Mostly just the undead guardians and his new friend, an Elf named Menel. There are a few other side characters who are interesting at first glance but don't get much screen time.
Conclusion:
Overall, if the show got a second season I'd be interested in seeing it play out. This first season feels like a lot of build up and setting up the world and pieces within for a bigger story in the future. So it does feel a bit like an anime preview to sell the manga or LN series. But I think it's interesting enough for a watch if a little slow. Couple extra things: no harem or fan service, which is nice. Art is fine with some ups and downs.

The premise to this show is very obviously an absurd framework to force a love triangle story out as quickly as possible with some semblance of uniqueness to draw you in. If you're ok with that and enjoy love triangle stories, then this will work for you.
STORY
The story follows essentially two "married" couples where the main couple's members are in love with the members of the other couple. The main couple are an otaku and a popular girl, Jirou and Akari and the other couple are Shiori(Jirou's childhood friend and crush) and Tenjin, the guy Akari has a crush on. are required to take part in is not very well explained. There's a quick guide to how it works and then you're just thrown into the love triangle shenanigans for the rest of the show. At first I thought it would be some month long because how could it go on for longer than that, but at some point near the end it's revealed that this entire show has been taking place over a period of 4 months and will continue after summer break I guess. That's pretty insane and you constantly have to suspend your disbelief over this entire premise.
ART
The art for the show is very vibrant and colorful and generally looks good throughout the entire production.
CHARACTERS
The characters are all fairly recognizable archetypes and generally don't gets tons of development. Jirou is the typical otaku character who is unsure of himself, second guesses his own feelings and all the signals he gets from the girls, and is generally an idiot most of the time. Akari is the popular girl who thinks she's too good for Jirou at the onset, likes to wear revealing clothes and acts like she's experienced in love, but in reality she's putting on a front and is actually hesitant about love. Their relationship is about 90% of the show and it's hard to root for them. Akari acts like she wants nothing to do with Jirou and actively insults him, but then actively teases him sexually even though her goal is to get with the other guy. It doesn't make any sense. Of course, over time, they develop confused feelings for each other. Shiori and Tenjin are given far less development with Tenjin getting the least amount of anyone. Shiori and Jirou of course are childhood friends who secretly love each other, but both don't think the other does, are worried about confessing to the other and it drags on for the entire show.
FINAL:
Overall, I have very mixed feelings about the show in general. Some of the comedy works well and mostly comes from side characters or ecchi situations, so YMMV on those. But the progression of the characters and their relationships are somewhat frustrating. Akari and Jirou do not work very well as a couple at all. He's nice to her, so I get why she'd develop feelings for him over time, and he's certainly attracted to her, so it makes sense that he'd develop some for her, but the constant teasing and takebacks from Akari of any true emotional connections they make; get really frustrating. He's constantly questioning her motives and openly acknowledges and gets mad at her about them, but then she'll make some manipulative comment to excuse it and he always relents and lets it go. It's annoying as she's essentially gaslighting him constantly, but he just lets it happen, continues to be a spineless idiot and lets her walk all over him. It's weird because the gaslighting isn't played as purposely manipulative or malevolent, it's just something she keeps doing for no reason apart from the writer forcing the love triangle to happen. It feels like the writer really wants you follow their relationship as the one that is meant to be, but their relationship and how they interact constantly makes me wonder how they ever could. It's not built on a good foundation and they just don't really have much of a connection apart from his attraction to her body and him being nice. Things do develop more seriously between Jirou and the two girls, so he ultimately has to sort of choose between them, but it never gets there. He remains somewhat oblivious to everything as I guess they want you to grab the next dozen or so volumes of the source material.
In the end, I give it a 6 due to some fun stuff here and there and the art.

From the premise, it just sounds like a typical OP MC starting out as an adventurer-type of show. That's mostly what it is, but the premise that he's superpowered due to him training in a difficult area is played as if the hero isn't aware of this. He just goes about doing OP things, not understanding that he's really strong. At first, this is fine and leads to some fun, comedic situations, but it just keeps going. Every encounter with a villain or enemy; he doesn't understand anything that's going on and accidentally saves the day each time without knowing that he even did anything

or even that there's a villain doing something. He doesn't even feel like a main character most of the time, as other characters are actually moving the plot forward around him and he doesn't seem to be actually doing anything himself.
Overall, I just dropped the series, which I rarely ever do. I don't see it going anywhere good and I found myself getting lost and bored with it.

There's a fun premise here that gets overshadowed by overly serious background world-building and politics.
The show appears to be about a Centaur girl's life in school and for the most part it is. However, the tone of the show shifts several times when it starts to dive into slavery, racism and even almost an entire episode dedicated to a random politician neither seen nor referenced prior(afaik) and their experience in a concentration camp. The larger machinations behind the scenes don't really connect very well to the MC and her friends apart from the broadest strokes within the 12 episodes of the show.
The good parts of
...
the show to me are when it focuses on the Centaur and her schoolmates and how they lead their lives and the various hardships they may face because of their different animal cultures and physiques.
I'm not sure what the point of the show is, ultimately. Everything together, the monster girl's lives and the larger political background; all that stuff just kind of bogs down things and ultimately nothing seems to come of any of it.
I've giving it a 6 because I liked the general premise and the characters, and the way they interact with the world, but the larger world-building is too dense, unfocused and unconnected to the main characters.
