The first season of Assassination Classroom was good, but I didn't really like it as much as this season. That's because this season was greater than its last season. Of course, this is the conclusion of Assassination Classroom. Thus, all questions are answered in a good way (Not half-ass).

I maybe reviewing its second season, but there'll be a bit of comparison between this and its first season to convince some people to watch this series now.


STORY/CHARACTERS:
The story starts of with Koro-sensei (Not his real name), chops the moon down to a permanent crescent. He then became a teacher at Kunugigaoka Middle School's Class 3-E, because ... he wanted to. The students on that section were assigned to kill this mysterious creature and they will be awarded TEN BILLION YEN. However, the mysterious creature is simply indestructible (Or is it?). By the time they graduate, Koro-sensei will destroy planet Earth (Or will he?).

Let me just clear this up - Koro-sensei is not a villain. SURPRISE? Not really. Clearly he isn't judging by his actions in the first season. My complaint on the first season is that I didn't really see on where the story is going, but this season really answered that and I totally understood everything on why this and that happened.

The story doesn't only focus on Koro-sensei. The story also tries to focus on other characters like the students and even the principal of the school. The series tries its best not to leave anyone behind. However, there's one thing that I'll admit - some characters on this series are forgettable. Again, the flaws I found on the first season can still be found here. The characters I'm referring to are the students. Despite the story trying to give them time to shine, they're pretty much forgettable (I'm not talking about Nagisa, Karma, Kayano, etc. of course. They had a lot of big moments on the story).

Not a lot of manga readers will be at least satisfied from its second-half of this season because there are indeed parts of this season that were skipped from the manga. I never read the manga, but I heard it was skipped. For me, I don't think you should complain about that. This wasn't badly adapted. The essence of the story is still there and because of it, the story still had sense. I'm pretty sure they only skipped the minor parts from the manga.


ANIMATION/SOUND:
I thought the animation is amazing. The coloring of it and the fight scenes are pretty great. For the soundtrack, it's pretty good. It has it's ups and downs. There are some soundtrack that are good while some are decent. For the opening, the first opening which is QUESTION was good, but the second opening is better. I just felt more attached to it and that's probably because on how the second-half went down. The first ending theme is okay, but the second ending theme however is freaking emotional. It is one of the best ending themes. You can feel my heart strings being played because of it.


OVERALL:
I enjoyed the show. Though its comedic moments are okay (Some are a hit while some misses. It isn't the best comedy show), the drama of this show really stood out. No, I'm not one of those people that gives a show a 10/10 because they cried buckets *Cough* Angel Beats *Cough*, but the execution was good and I do admit, I cried which is rare (I don't cry a lot when I see sad scenes). It's amazing to see the student's journey with Koro-sensei until the end.

Score: 9/10

This will be a review of Gintama (as an anime series) and a bit of comparison between this season (2015) and its previous season to be able to convince you on what makes this season much more awesome than the previous ones.


STORY/CHARACTERS:
There's this group/company called "Odd Jobs" which consists of three members: Sakata Gintoki (the leader), Shimura Shinpachi, and Kagura. Basically what they do is that they'll accept any requests from people as long as they get paid.

The story doesn't only limit to these three characters. We also meet the Shinsengumi which is one of the special police in Edo. The three main characters in ... there are Kondo, Hijikata, and Okita. We also get to meet Gintoki's neighbors like Otose, Catherine, and Tama. We also see other characters in Edo and outside of it like Sarutobi, Tsukuyo, Hinomi, etc. It doesn't leave any characters behind. The story's comedy gives them time to shine. If not comedy, then they shine on the serious arcs.

Now... Where's the plot? Where does it go? This is a comedy Shounen series. When you watch the early episodes of Gintama, you think there's no plot. However, it could be that you already watched an episode that leads up to one of its serious arcs. Like some comedy episodes about the Shogun. The Shogun appears around Episode 80+ and appears again around Episode 150+ and around 230+. You may not know that this is actually a development that leads to one of its serious arcs and that is "Courtesan of a Nation arc", but that doesn't stop there. Some serious arc could lead to sequels and that is the latest's season "S.A. arc" (Had to make that an acronym. I don't want to spoil there).

It is recommendable that you need to watch at least all episodes of Gintama so when the time comes that you'll watch the serious arcs, you will feel the emotion of each characters, and you won't get lost while you're watching it.

The question lies here: Does the comedy click for me? Are the serious arcs that amazing?

For the comedy, yes, it is hilarious. The early parts of the show however, didn't really click me. Like around the first 10 episodes, its comedy were just okay, but the comedy gets better later on. What I do notice about its comedy is that when the characters deliver their punchlines, it's not only once. It's like there's a chain of continuous punchlines in one segment that connects to the joke and it's hilarious. The comedy also features breaking the fourth wall jokes and I thought that was also hilarious. They even do parodies outside of Gintama's universe so you'll see them making fun of Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, Kuroko no Basket, etc. The only flaw that I can point out on its comedy is that there are inside jokes. Meaning, jokes that most likely only the Japanese audience can get, but I understood most of Gintama's jokes.

For its serious arcs, it's good. However, I don't think some lives up to the hype like what some people say. Arcs like Benizakura and Shinsengumi Crisis maybe emotional, but at the back of my head, it felt like I've seen something like this before and it doesn't really differentiate from other Shonen anime. However, I wouldn't say the same for Red Spider and Four Devas arc. While Red Spider didn't really had connection to Gintoki's past, it showed some similarities. Four Devas arc really opened up a lot of character development for the characters like Gintoki and Otose. However, there weren't a lot of turning points or there were only few turning points on these two arcs I've mentioned.

Gintama's latest season (2015) blow these arcs away and give us much more serious arcs - S.A. arc and F.S. arc (Mentioning the arc's name is a huge spoiler, so might as well make it an acronym). I mean, there was another serious arc called "Reaper", but then it suffers the same flaw from the other serious arcs I've mentioned. What makes S.A. and F.S. different from others is the turning point of the story. These arcs had a HUGE SHIFT from its characters. We got to know more about Gintoki's past, the Shinsengumi and its rival, Mimawarigumi. It had more character development and it opened up much more on the past and I thought it was outstanding.


ANIMATION/SOUND:
I'm not going to mention the early days of its animation. It's old, we get it. As long as it improved, I don't think that's going to matter, so I'm just going to critique its latest animation which is impressive. I love how the animation shifts its tone from comedy to being serious. Like, you can see the distinct change on its shadings when it's about time to laugh or to get serious. However, I wouldn't say the animation, in terms of its fight scenes, are always consistent. It does have its moments, but not most of the time. Still, I think the animation is great.

For the soundtrack, it's also great. Its comedic soundtracks and its serious soundtracks are played at the right time and I thought they were memorable. For the OPs and EDs, there are some great ones, but some are okay. However, some OPs and EDs sometimes don't match to the content of its latest arcs. Take "Beautiful Days" by OKAMOTO'S as an example. Lyrics? "Beauty Beauty Beautiful Monday. Beauty Beauty Beautiful Tuesday--" and it shows that the arc is going to be sad.


OVERALL:
You need patience and dedication to watch this show. It's comedy maybe off for some at the beginning, but it does get better and better. Gintama's latest season isn't the conclusion though. It left hanging as the manga is still ongoing, but its conclusion doesn't disappoint. This series is easily one of my biggest recommendations to some people who hasn't watched it yet.

Score: 10/10 (9.6, but fudge it. I enjoyed it a lot and round it up to 10/10).

Gintama is a good show. I have to admit that. The comedy of the show is really good. However, this movie only has less comedy and it shows more of its serious side. Is it a good movie?

It is a good movie, but it's not a 10/10 for me.

I believe this is the first Gintama arc that shows its serious side. It introduces, if not, develops characters that links to Gintoki's backstory. The film does show its epic moments. By the ending, it raises more question on Gintoki's past which makes me curious (I still have to watch the anime to find out).

I couldn't score ... the story higher as it is good, however, aside from the amount of questions raised, it isn't something new to the Shonen genre. I do believe that Gintama has something better to offer than this.

For the animation, it is better than its alternative version, it is much more fluid than ever. However, I wouldn't say it is the best animation ever, but it works. For the soundtrack, DOES did a great job on performing these 2 ED performances (I'm starting to like the band). The OSTs on this show is also great.

I enjoyed the movie because of its characters. The comedy and the action of the characters is the reason why I enjoyed the movie. Before watching this movie, you should watch Gintama first. When you enter Benizakura ark, just watch the movie version like I did. I didn't bother watching the anime version. After this, I'll head back to the anime.

JoJo is one of those generic anime--

"Well, I let you know that before your Naruto, Fairy Tail <insert more mainstream Shonen anime> came in, we had JoJo. JoJo is the root of all Shonen (Now Seinen)."

Well... Umm... Okay. The show is indeed Bizarre so even though it had its generic moments it's fine, but there are things that I dislike about this show.

STORY:
If you're still clueless about the story, we follow this guy named JoJo and we follow him through his bizarre adventures. For more information, read the synopsis. written by MAL.

If you love Shonen anime, you'll get easily hook by the show, which I ... did got hook. This season didn't answer a lot of questions from its plot, but hey, we already got Stardust Crusaders and Diamond is Unbreakable (Which I'll watch soon).

However, the story's biggest downfall is its pacing. The first part (first half) of JoJo has a very fast pacing. They didn't took time developing Erina and JoJo and they didn't took time on JoJo's training with the two characters at the second half which I even forgot their names because they're forgettable.

Fast-pacing leads to forgettable...

CHARACTERS:
Not the main characters of course. The JoJo(s. Let's leave that letter there.) aren't forgettable. However, this anime doesn't really take time to develop some of its minor characters because of its horrible pacing.

Despite some forgettable characters, JoJo, JoJo, and the villains of this show are actually entertaining to watch despite the show being kind of generic. I guess it's generic, because it is bizarre. We'll get onto that part later.

Animation and Sound:
The colors and shadings of this show is really impressive and I like how it switches its colors on moments that are intense and bizarre. Though, the animation doesn't really have smooth or "sakuga" moments unlike other action shows that I've watch. For the soundtrack, it's something that I have to get used to. I didn't really get in with its OP themes, but they actually get catchy once you listen to them all over again. For the OSTs, there are good ones, but then there are okay ones.

OVERALL:
I did say that it shows some generic moments, but what makes this different from other shows is that this show is aware of its generic moments because heck, it is bizarre. However, what turns me off is its fast-pacing story (at some parts) and some of its minor characters are completely forgettable. The show didn't really do a good job on making them shine.

I heard Stardust Crusaders is good, so I hope that lives up to the hype as I'm going to watch it soon.

A lot of manga readers consider this manga a "masterpiece" while I think that this manga is good, I don't think it's close to a masterpiece.

STORY:
Orange follows a girl Naho Takamiya who receives a letter from herself 10 years in the future. The letter predicts the events on what's going to happen in the future and one of it is Kakeru's death. Basically, it's a letter to save him before he kills himself. (For a much more serious synopsis, just go read MAL's synopsis of this manga).

Usually with these kinds of story, it carries a lot of risks. A lot of supernatural stories could forced ... its drama and/or leave it unexplained, thus leaves a lot of plot holes *Cough* Kokoro Connect *Cough* while other seems to get it right (I would say that Erased somewhat got it right, but they explained it subtly). Did this manga fall under one these risks?

Yes it did. Where it did fall short was how unrealistic the characters were acting because of the story. If you don't get what I'm saying, I'm about to spoil.

*SPOILER STARTS HERE*
Apparently on the later part, Naho isn't the only one that has the letter. The others, Naho's "squad" (Except for Kakeru), also received a letter from themselves 10 years in the future.

What sucks about this is that if that's the case, there were SO MANY WAYS to flip the situation; to avoid Kakeru getting depress especially on the first few parts of the chapter. Did the friends disregard the letter at first? Did she have the letter first before her friends received one?

So where did it fall? Forced drama.
*SPOILER ENDS HERE*

Though it did explain the supernatural aspect of it. Which is bizarre.

CHARACTER:
I did enjoy the characters in the first few chapters until the dumb part kicked in. I didn't feel much about the characters anymore after the dumb part kicked in (I'm referring to the one that I spoiled). Everyone did have their moments. Also, I'm glad this isn't one of the manga that has to develop every characters, one by one. That would just drag out the story. I'm glad it only focused on Naho, Kakeru, and Hiroto.

Another part where the characters fall are the characters 10 years from the future. What's up with the 10 year gap? When the heck did they thought that the Bermuda triangle is a black hole that can send anything to the past? (Don't worry that's just a minor spoiler). Again, forced drama. The manga should have took time building up its supernatural aspect (like one of them researching about the black hole and discovering it), but then it looks bizarre and it's laughable.

ART:
The art style is not unique, but it is detailed. This is one of those manga that isn't lazily drawn. Though it isn't that detailed as some other manga, but I still think it's great. You have to give props.

OVERALL:
I enjoyed it nonetheless despite its major flaws. I still felt their friendship; the feels from start to end (Well, not all parts anyways). I know this is a Sci-Fi manga, but it felt supernatural to me. Do I recommend this? Despite its flaws, I enjoyed it thus, I recommend it. Though, I'm sure there are better Romance/Drama manga better than this that I have yet to read them.

So I actually decide to read the manga of Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun after watching its anime last year. Why did it took me a year? Well, I dislike anime where the ending of it is lackluster and to see more information about it, I'm forced to read the manga. The characters on the anime are really good, but what made them lackluster (in terms of development) is because of that lackluster ending.

I decided to read the manga just now, because I really have nothing to do throughout the summer. I mean, I'm watching Jojo (the first season), but it's not hyping me up (Unlike what ... other people say. I'm even beginning to doubt that maybe Stardust Crusaders is where the hype is) and it isn't giving me spice.

So we have a cold-hearted girl named Mizutani, Shizuku who only cares about her grades. She then meets this eccentric, happy go lucky boy named Yoshida, Haru. This is where their romance begins to develop in a comedic, slice of life way. I know this isn't a SOL manga, but I do get that vibe as I read the manga.

What makes the story good is how it drives with its characters. Basically, the story doesn't progress without its character's motives. It doesn't even feel forced. I'm not only talking about Shizuku and Haru, I'm also talking about its side characters like Sasayan, Natsume, Yamaken, Ooshima, and so on. The side characters don't even feel left out. They also have their moments where they are the reason why the story is progressing between Shizuku and Haru and that's what I love about the manga - the way it progresses and it doesn't feel forced. The story tackles the romance, family, and friendship aspect and they do it really well. I gave the story and the characters a 10/10 because although it maybe simple, again, the way they it blends with its characters is what makes it outstanding.

For the art, it isn't really detailed, but in terms of the style, it's really good. All of the characters look attractive especially the girls. They look kawaii. For the men, they also look kawaii (No homo).

This is the very first Shojo manga that I finished, so some of you may disagree to what I say (And might say that I have to read other Shojo manga to see for myself), but I still think this manga is great no matter how many Shojo manga I've read. I enjoyed it because of its characters and the way the story progresses. This is way better than the anime... Obviously.

My score for this manga is a 9/10. Outstanding story and characters though it falls in terms of art which is why this manga didn't hit a 10/10. This manga is great for both beginners and veterans. It's great for beginners as this manga doesn't really fall in any cliche tropes (like "fanservice"), so I thought this manga maybe a good introduction to beginners out there.

THEN WATCH HAIKYUU!! DAMN IT! IT'S SOOOOO GOOOOD.

*Ehem* Anyways, if you're reading this review and you haven't watch season 1, well, here's a synopsis.

One guy named Hinata loves volleyball and dreams to be the ace of one team (Ends up being a decoy). During his middle school, he had a volleyball club but, it had no members ... at all. He had a rival named Tobio Kageyama a.k.a. the King of the court. He's called the king because of his selfishness and bossy attitude towards his teammates. When they were high-school, both rivals are now teammates. This is where their journey begins.

On this season though, this will tackle on how Karasuno will get back up again for the second time.

The first half of the second season is really just character development as a team on how they'll get back up. What I like about the story is that it's not only about the matches. Sure, the matches make a big impact on the story, but they also give time to develop the characters outside of the matches like their training. Haikyuu is very light to watch and it seems like you're watching a slice of life anime except there's sports "feels" on to it. This anime gives so much time on character development and it maybe boring for some, but not for me. The humor on this anime is also outstanding.

The second half is where the matches kicks in for the Spring Tournament. Honestly, there was never a match that disappoint me. Every match really has a big impact to it (The last match on this season is still the biggest though). Sure, they show a minor match just to see that Karasuno will advance (minor spoiler right there), but it's not just some any minor match. There's a lesson to it. This is where I was VERY IMPRESSED. Even minor matches has a big impact not only to the characters in the story, but pretty much to every sports players out there. I thought it was very heart-touching. I sound corny, but it's true.

I gave story a 9 because despite all its greatness, it still hasn't concluded, so maybe if the next season will conclude and its greatness is consistent, maybe it'll get a 10/10. The characters though are a 10/10. Despite the huge cast it has, almost every cast are memorable and that is because they really give time for each cast to shine.

The animation is great though, it's art style is where I have to get used to. But hey, I'm used to it already. I mean, this is the second season already. What matters is on how fluid the animation is and they're consistent like Kuroko no Basket (Not surprising considering that they have the same studio). There are so many memorable moments on this anime and one of those reasons has something to do with the animation. The soundtrack for the second season is really good. There are some light soundtrack while there are some epic soundtrack. There's this one soundtrack where I really like (I don't know what's the name) where the bass guitar goes crazy and it really pumps me up.

Overall, very enjoyable anime and season 3 is already confirmed and will air this Fall of 2016. I can't wait! If you haven't watch Haikyuu, watch it now! Seriously!

This anime is on par with Baby Steps except Baby Steps has romance and it's only 1 v 1 (Tennis). Both anime have great character development and great matches in different ways (Read my Baby Steps review if you're curious). So, if you're looking for an alternative for Haikyuu, go watch Baby Steps. It's underrated and it seriously needs attention.

Boku Dake ga Inai Machi or ERASED is not the best show ever, but it isn't the worst/bad show as what some people say. Most people praise this show because of "good directing" which in other term - THE ANIMATION WAS SO GOOD; while some people dislike this show because they don't feel the mystery feeling of the show and everything was too obvious from the start.

Our main character, Satoru Fujinuma, has a supernatural ability which he calls it "Revival" - this ability sends him back in time before an accident/incident. He was then wrongfully accused of being a murderer to someone close to him ... and because of that, his Revival reacts and sends him back to 1988, 18 years in the past. He later realizes that the incident that occurred has connections with the abduction and the killing of one of his classmates. This is where the mystery begins and to find out on who the killer is.

Now, I'll try sticking on the lines between black and white and not be bias about this because to be honest, I love the show A LOT. So, let's start things of with the Cons of the show.

*Pacing issues
-After watching the 11th Episode of Erased, I already had a feeling that they skipped so many parts from the manga. Yes, I felt like it was rushed, and I was right. After reading the manga, there were so many key parts that were skipped especially the dark BACKSTORY of the KILLER. Because of that, this leads to:

*Lack of character development
-Actually, I do feel like the anime does quite a good job of developing some characters most likely the main ones like Satoru, Kayo, Satoru's mom, etc., but there's just one character that bothers me - the killer. When the killer's motives was announced at the start of Episode 11th, I was thinking at the back of my head that, sure, that was dark, but why does he have that mentality? Then I read the manga and saw the whole backstory of the killer. Because of that, I understood more on why the killer is LIKE THAT. It's not just the killer. There were other characters where I feel like they lack development like Kumi who appeared at the last 2 episodes of the show. On the manga, we got to know her well, but on the anime, she feels like a bait for the story to progress.

*Also the transformers sound when his revival reacts. That's annoying

However, despite these flaws, there are parts where the anime does a REALLY GOOD JOB AT. Let's state the obvious first.

*The animation
+There were many smooth moments of the animation. If it's not about the fluidity of it, well, there were also good shots of this anime like when Satoru's Mom was cooking at the first episode or Satoru getting in the classroom at the second episode. Well, I do admit that the animation isn't consistent throughout the show. There were shots of the animation that just felt meh, but you cannot deny that most animation on this show just makes the anime memorable.

*The soundtrack
+ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION is back by re-recording 'Re:Re:" which was a song released last 2004. Now they're "reviving" it. The full version of this song mostly contains instrumentals over vocals, but I'm not really bothered by it. The instrumentals even captures the feels of the show and the lyrics of the show also captures it. If the opening theme is good, the ending theme is also good. Sayuri's "Sore wa Chiisana Hikari no Youna" is really touching and just by looking at the lyrics, it's really related to the show. I cannot pick between the opening theme and the ending theme. Both are actually really good. Yuki Kajiura is the composer and a lot of it's soundtrack are actually good. My favorite one is (I don't know if this is the name of the soundtrack. As of this review, the OST for ERASED is not release. I don't if they're going to release it) called "Satoru and Kayo". The voice acting is also superb on this show. Our main character's VA is actually his first character that he voice acted and he actually did a great job at doing it. I mean, all I can say is that everyone captured the voice acting really well especially Satoru and the killer.

Okay, so now let's get onto the parts on why I love this show a lot.

*Doesn't drag a lot
+What I mean by this is that it doesn't really "extend things" that might make the show a bit longer. It gets straight to the point. I did criticize that this show skipped some parts from the manga, but not all parts. There were some parts where I felt that it was okay for me to let them skip it. There were some parts where I felt like these characters have already enough development, so it's best if they skip it. One of those parts are noticeably the ending. On the manga, I hated how they dragged things out on the last arc. The anime though quickly rushes through it "differently" like on the manga, they were on the bridge while on the anime, they were at the top of the hospital building.

*Killer revealed
+Here's the part where some people might disagree or if not, highly disagree with me. A lot of people complained on how the killer was too obvious. Well, it doesn't bother me at all. I think the director intentionally made it obvious. I think I would have raged if it was actually another killer that wasn't obvious from the start because that would have ruin the build up on who the killer is. From start until the revelation, I do think that it was some sort of build up to the suspense of the show. Rather, the execution is on why I love the show. It's noticeable from the animation/shots of the show. Though, because of this, this doesn't give a viewers a chance to play the "detective game", but I'm not bothered by that.

Overall, Erased definitely hooked me with the thrill it offers from start to end. There are also many touching moments of this series that just make me love the show even more. If you're trying to find a mystery show to watch, this is definitely a must-watch for me.

Episode 11 of Boku Dake ga Inai Machi felt a little bit off. It seems like they skip some parts from the manga and I was right. I started reading the manga yesterday and I managed to finish it. The manga is better than the anime. The anime just makes it feel cinematic, but its pacing is really bad. After witnessing Episode 11, I decided to read the manga.

Look, I'm really okay if a studio skip some parts of the manga, but they have to do it right. A-1 Pictures almost did it right with Boku Dake ga Inai Machi until the killer's revelation. They ... skipped so many parts for the build up. Not just that, but they even skipped the killer's very dark backstory. Watching the anime feels like the studio just cooked a meat, but it is still raw. The manga however, is overcooked.

As I read throughout the manga, every chapter ends with a climax. Same goes to the anime. What I like about this manga is how it takes time to build up before something "really big" occurs. I find it very thrilling and it isn't really a bad thing. It makes you want to read more unless you read the manga when it wasn't over yet because when I read the manga, it was already over. I also love its uses of symbolism such as the butterfly and the spider's web.

Despite how thrilling it gets, I mentioned that the manga is overcooked. Meaning, it gets stupid later on. Ever since the killer was revealed, I felt that the manga was really draggy thus lead to stupid cliches. I felt like it overstayed. You'll know what I mean if I spoil it for you guys, but I don't want to spoil it.

Despite how the story gets overcooked, at least the characters were enjoyable and engaging. The author really tries his best not to leave out every characters on the story and tries his best to at least give everyone a proper development. Honestly, none of the characters felt stupid. The story just made them look stupid, but they're not. I really love almost everyone from Satoru because of how I witness his journey, the killer because of his dark/mysterious vibes and his crazy backstory - I see no reason to hate these characters. You can hate the killer for being frustrating, but isn't he the villain?

Overall, Boku Dake ga Inai Machi gives us a one heck of a ride. You ride on this roller coaster that goes up and down until the rails are just straight. Despite telling you on how stupid the story gets, I'd still recommend you to read this manga. Even though it gets bad, it still gets plus points because of it's characters that drives you throughout from start to end. I don't really read a lot of manga, so I cannot claim that this manga is still much more decent than others, but just give this a shot. This is still one of the manga that I think you shouldn't miss.

A lot of people can relate to the main character, Hikigaya Hachiman. He's somewhat views the society in a negative way which is why a lot can relate, However, just because you can relate to a main character, doesn't really mean that it's a great show. Don't get me wrong, this show isn't bad, nor near mediocre. It's just a good show, but it is lackluster.

We meet Hikigaya Hachiman who is forced to join the Volunteer Service Club by a teacher. This club aims to help students in school who needs support. There's only one member on that club (Make that two as Hachiman joins) ... and that is Yukino Yukinoshita - a girl who is similar to Hikigaya Hachiman and she is the cold girl of this show. Later on, we also get to meet Yui Yuigahama who is the opposite of Yukino - she is much more optimistic.

MAL defines this as a "Romance" show and I can't blame MAL. I mean, the title says "My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU", so it is romance. However, I don't really see a lot of romance from this SEASON. This season is more of a character development between the three characters. You will not see any romantic progression and that's what I dislike.

I do admit that this show can bore me sometimes and there are some dramatic parts where I am like "Oh... okay..." I know, I'm being too harsh on this show, but that's really how I felt. I don't really feel the connection between the supporting casts. It just feels dry. I only thought that the main cast was great.

The animation is really good as expected from Studio Brain's Base. I mean, from a Rom-com (And not a battle-shonen), I don't expect the animation to exceed my expectations. The soundtrack is also really good. I love the opening theme song of this show which is performed by Nagi Yanagi. Though, for the visuals of the opening, I wish they could have done better.

Overall, I love the main characters, I barely love the supporting cast, the romantic progression is around 0.1% to 0.9%, the ending was too bitter.

MY OPINION ON ZOKU (The second season):
I have to say that Zoku is better than this season. It really gives us more romantic hints and somehow, I love the supporting cast much more than how I loved them on the first season. Sure, they added more supporting cast which might ruin the essence of the show, but somehow, it made the show much better due to their purpose. Not just that, but finally, there's at least a bit of romance hints on this season than the first season. That's why I enjoyed the second season much more than the first.

The first and second season both have different studio. Studio Feel made a right decision to pick up the light novel and continued on where it left off from its predecessor. I do hear from some light-novel readers that they skipped some parts, but I couldn't care less. Skipping/changing some parts from the adaptation to the anime doesn't make it bad. It really depends.
