Beck (Manga) add
One of the standout aspects of "Beck" is its rich and well-developed characters. Yukio is a relatable and likable protagonist, and his relationships with the other members of his band, Beck, are beautifully portrayed. The supporting characters, from the kind-hearted guitarist Koyuki to the fiery and unpredictable vocalist Ryuusuke, are equally well-written and add depth to the story.

The art is also impressive, with dynamic and expressive character designs and detailed backgrounds that bring the world to life. The action sequences, particularly the performances by the band, are particularly well-drawn and exciting.

Overall, "Beck" is a must-read for fans of music-themed manga and coming-of-age stories. The relatable ...

Story: 4/10
Surprisingly interesting, but still far from good. The story is way too convoluted, fast-paced and confusing. Still, it manages to be charming because of it's core theme.

Art: 7/10
Above the average for your usual one-shot shoujo, pleasant to look at and not confusing, consistent and well drawn.

B Reaction (Manga) add
Ok, I'm giving this an 8 out of respect to what it could have been

Story (6/10) and Character (8/10):
The plot is good, the characters are great, but... WHAT WAS THAT ENDING?! There was none, zero closure to any of the many interesting plots the manga presented to us, both romance and fighting-wise. It really could have became something on the liking of "Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi" in the sense of a long, pseudo-romance, fighting manga. It's a shame it couldn't do that.

Art: 8/10
Might not be most people's preferred style but I like it a lot, especially the characters, male and female. Where it lacks ...

A la Carte (Manga) add
I'm lazy, so I'll only review my favorite of the 4 one-shots, the second one:

Story: 7/10
A guy who can see X hours into the future, not exactly a revolutionary idea, but in this case, it was somewhat well done. Although a little rushed, i liked the fact that the author added 2 or 3 "simultaneous plots" that are connected through the main character.

Art: 7/10
Good art, consistent all throughout, good notion of action and good character facial distinction

Overall (7/10) and conclusion:
I like this one-shot and the other three. Every little world had room for development, especially with its interesting characters and character dynamics. Overall I would ...

A Girls (Manga) add
Mixed Feelings
A Girls is overall a good time, fun, good paced, and sometimes intriguing.

Story: 7/10
The best thing about this story is the pacing, it is short and follows excellent rhythm all throughout. My problem with it is how unclear the story is as to who is the bad guy, this role shifts from character to character, sometimes you think that there is an entire evil organization, and sometimes you feel that there is no bad guy. I will not spoil anything but the way this was resolved kinda bothered me. The ending also fell a little short of what I was expecting but at least ...

Kakusan (Manga) add
What a masterpiece

Story: 10/10
This is a supreme masterpiece of a story, very similar to something Oshimi Shuuzou (Aku no Hana) would write. It is good to the point that I do not want to spoil anything for you. It is a story about rape, suffering, suicide, depression, romance and much more. It is a masterful balancing act between sadness and hope, much like that we see in real life.

Art: 10/10
Some masterpieces have bad art, some are art masterpieces with bad stories, Diffusion Disease manages somehow to be both. the art style in this is simply stunning, beautiful and it fits the story so well.

Overall (10/10) ...

Story: 8/10
A lot goes untold, and that is clearly intended. A beautiful use of the one-shot format to tell a story bigger than itself

Art: 6/10
Average art, the fishes look good tho.

Character: 7/10
As I said, not a lot is given to the reader, but still they feel like characters with a backstory

Overall (7/10) and conclusion

Short, weird, cute

Story: 7/10
Weird plot, I feel like it landed itself really well to the 17-page format, extending it further would only be detrimental

Art: 6/10
Cute, could be cutter. Well done and satisfactory

Character: 7/10
OK, obviously the characters don't get much development in 17 pages, but still they feel like real people, they manage to express their backstory in the way they act, and not in by saying it.

007 Series (Manga) add
A series of not-so-short James Bond stories

Story: 6/10
All of the stories are rushed and at the same time manage to feel dragged out. The strong point is definitively Bond itself and the plots are also fun

Art: 4/10
I am not a huge fan of this style, it lends a lot from old, western comics and is pretty simplistic and not-manga-like.

Character: 7/10
Bond is still Bond, the character doesn't feel weird or like someone else.

Mixed Feelings
Story: 2/10
This is really bad, shallow and confusing, all at the same time.

Art: 8/10
Definitively surprising, I *personally* love this art! such a shame that it is in a bad manga.

Character: 4/10
I see only the protagonist as a person, honestly, and even him is highly underdeveloped.

Overall (5/10) and conclusion:
