A simple task for a character in TRoT (The Ravages of Time) such as getting tea and sitting down to drink it is not so simple. First the character thinks up an inhuman amount of detail and complex tactics just to get his tea and then analyses half a dozen methods to drink it and which would be the most proficient while sitting in the room with 10 others all drinking their tea and playing mental chess on how to kill each other in a hundred different ways all branching off into their own paths in the conclusions to find the most efficient plan to execute on top of several individuals already dead already – with their tea gone cold without anyone noticing. <--- This... even this doesn't fully describe the series in how much these characters strategize.

Did you need a pen and paper to keep track of how complex this series is? :P
