That's an interesting take. For me, I thought the purpose behind the Liar Game was kind of a let down and it broke my suspension of disbelief.

When Nao told her first lie, I was so proud of her lol. How did you feel about the ending? Personally, I had a lot of mixed feelings.

I loved how Akiyama was always a step ahead of everyone! It was harder to like Nao at the beginning, but it was fun to see her become less naive while still remaining a genuinely good, pure person.

It's been quite a while since I read it... That one game where they had to transport the money was good. I also liked the game where winning meant staying in the majority. Since I can't remember many others that means I should probably re-read it soon.

Yes, and I'm very, very nervous about it. From what I heard, the Gyo and Junji Ito collection anime were not great adaptations, so i hope they don't fuck this one up.

For me I think it was because Sayu (Nagi no Asukara). But from the very first time I read the manga I've imagined her voice Ishihara's. Though for the rest of the characters I imagined their voices inconsistently. Like, Prez's voice would sometimes sound like Hamada Kenji or Suwabe Juniichi for me. What do you think?
