Yeah, the star coins can be hidden really well sometimes. I had to use a guide. In fact, now that I'm playing the DS game again, I was forced to look up a strategy guide a second time. Can't believe I forgot where the star coins were hidden. Oh well...though I don't know why I'm going through the effort of finding them over again. I'm up to the last world, BTW.

Decent week for games. Spirit Tracks for the DS, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for the Wii. Both are getting good reviews.

It sounds like it's basically for younger players, in case they're completely stuck.
I bet. Some of the coins in the DS game were difficult to find. If I remember correctly, I had to use a strategy guide to find a few of them.

Did you ever use that Super Guide thing? I think you have to die eight times in a row...or something.
Damn. I don't know if I want to play this game now. Ha!
The d-pad on the Wii remote always kills my thumb when I play older VC games. Especially the original Punch Out. I can only imagine this game. o_O!!!
