Ya-ho!
I'm Liz.
From dark mysteries to a good slice-of-life, I enjoy a wide variety of anime.
I don't really read manga but please, no torches or pitch forks. ;)
Me offline:
Cooking
Hiking
Singing
Sleeping in
Trying new restaurants
And work, work, work...
I wish I could make a day trip just for sandwiches haha :P Also, I really wish we actually did have an Ike's here in Vegas, but alas, we do not :'(
When I talked to the staff in Tempe, they said the owner wants to expand to New York and Las Vegas, so maybe one day, right?
I will certainly try Cheba Hut in the future. However, I can never go to the one in Flagstaff, because there is no Ike's in Flagstaff, you know? ;)
Waaaaaah! I'm so jealous! I wanna eat at Ike's in a really friendly town! :/
But I'm glad you got to try it! Ike's is amazing. The selection is amazing. Their Dutch crunch bread is amazing. The workers are amazing. I'm glad you got to find another great place to eat, and that you'll be back to try Ike's again in the future :)
......But now I want Ike's and I'm 4+ hours away and I'm sad lol :P
Ike's Sandwiches is an amazing place, and you need to turn off your computer right now and go there. The food is delicious, and when I was there I ate the Thunderbird, which is a sandwich exclusive to their Mesa, AZ location. It's on Alma School, and I cannot stress enough that you should at least try it once. I don't know how great Cheba Hut is, but Ike's is at least worth a shot. The Ike's in Mesa, unlike the Ike's in San Francisco has tables inside for customers to sit down and eat. They were a little less busy and cramped, so I assume that's why even though the people who work at the Ike's in San Francisco seemed nice, the employees in Mesa were 5x as nice and friendly. I had a conversation with two of the workers there, and since I went back a second time after about two hours to get another sandwich, they were nice enough to give me a free shirt!
Yeah, I kind of get that. Vegas is still pretty spread out, but there are times, especially on the freeway, where traffic can get to be pretty bad. Come to think of it, when I visited Mesa, there were hardly any cars driving around, so I guess that must be pretty nice.
Mesa seemed like a pretty good place. Plus you have an Ike's Sandwiches near you, which I'm sooooooo jealous of haha.
Thank you so much! :) I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I'm sure the Sports Anime Gods will forgive you. They're very kind and generous haha.
Also, what's the deal with Phoenix, AZ? Why is it so spread out? I drove through Phoenix to get to Mesa, and it felt like 4EVER. Do you spend all your time driving to places? If that's true, where did you find time to enjoy Haikyuu??????
