Here’s how my ratings work:

☆ All anime are rated on their own scale. For example, Takagi-san 10 ≠ Mushishi 10

☆ My ratings are more based on how much I enjoyed the anime and less on how “good” I thought it was. After all, eating bad ramen can still be fun (^_−)−☆

☆ I tend not to rate specials/OVAs of existing anime. If the episode were just a part of the season, it would get the same rating as the whole show, but on its own, it usually doesn’t hold up, being a single episode and all. So I don’t think it’s fair to rate it normally.
