Classic movies like Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and Princess Mononoke served as my introduction to anime as a young lad. I kinda stopped watching for a few years but recently Serial Experiments Lain really reignited my interest in the medium.
My other interests include: music, film, literature, writing, video games, sleeping. And I'm always up for meeting new people.

I unfortunately don't know too much about dubs D: I'm an interweb fansubbing guy. I just download everything, sometimes the stuff isn't even available in America D:
The only things I've really watched dubbed are Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Outlaw Star, FLCL, Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex, Wolf's Rain, Paranoia Agent. Just about everything that used to be on Adult Swim back in the day heh. All of which I thought had acceptable/good dubs.
It's hard to say though, if you start watching something dubbed you usually don't think it's that bad. But anything I watch subbed... I usually can't stand the dub.
Death Note especially >.>

I've been slowing down a bit, just for a lack of time to watch it, but I'm actually really digging this Ghost Hound show.

Yeah this site is way useful. I used to use a bunch of notepad files to keep track of everything, but this site is much better, especially with being able to see the best fansubbing groups (I'm bad, I download) and reviews for everything.

lol that one's definitely on my list. Haven't watched it yet. I've been going through my Plan to Watch list chronologically. Which is fun. It's cool seeing how the art and voice acting improves over time. Get to become familiar with plenty of voice actors as well.

well hope ur stay is good and i'm also looking forward to watching boogiepop phantom "in eng. sub" may be a little weird cuz i've only watched some in eng. dub ^^
