10 - Masterpiece, this media is the best of the best and an instant classic, a shining standard in every aspect to demonstrate what perfect media should look like, this is an experience like no other that constantly occupies my mind and leaves me endlessly pondering the implications, media in this category must also make an advancement or contribution in our understanding of the human condition and creates moral dilemmas or implications, these works are what Shakespeare would have written if he was still alive
9 - Incredible, this media truly stands out from the rest as among the best, nearly all aspects shine brilliantly and do exceedingly well to create an unprecedented level of enjoyment, media with this score commonly occupies my mind and shines among my favorite media, however, falls short in at least one aspect to be called a masterpiece
8 - Great, at least a majority of the aspects of the media are exemplary and cause it to step into greatness, the media contains one or two aspects that are done particularly outstanding, very high level of enjoyment
7 - Good, contains at least a few exemplary aspects that cause it to step away from mediocrity. high level of enjoyment but the media does nothing to particularly reach greatness in any regard
6 - Above average, contains one or two satisfactory aspects that cause it to slightly stand out from the crowd, straddles the line between goodness and mediocrity
5 - Average, does nothing particularly bad and nothing particularly well either, just run of the mill and mediocre, not a bad score or a good score, the media does nothing to stand out but is still entertaining
4 - Subpar, falls short of mediocrity in at least some aspect, the minimum score to entertained in at least some regard, overall opinion mixed
3 - Bad, contains at least a couple redeeming aspects but overall opinion remains negative
2 - Appalling, contains at least one redeeming aspect
1 - Utterly appalling, absolutely zero redeeming aspects
