Sharing the same concept with KonoSuba, Re:Zero looked promising, add in a bit of seriousness and dark theme and we got an overhyped dark-story-wannabe that failed hard. Almost everything in this anime was just wrong or just downright retarded, especially the very existence of our beloved White Knight-kun. Not to mention the direction of where the anime was heading in the second half. What more could possibly be wrong? And what did this abomination did for itself as a saving grace?

such sudden event, Knight-kun was not at all cautious but instead bask in the sunlight of the new world vowing to make it big in this life since he screwed up his own in the last world. He made his debut with a couple of episodes showing his intelligence. Then a few episodes of intensive eye testing in a darkass bar. Then the mansion part where he gets a taste of masochism by Waifu-chan. The story basically progresses to the point where he sidetracked to becoming a detective to a monster hunter before becoming a local hero who was loved by everyone. Re:Zero even had one of the most memorable moment as Knight-kun tried so hard squeezing his intelligence on everyone. And even Kazuma at the very least wrote a goddamned letter to tell his parents he was fine, Subaru essentially decided he was born from a stone and decided his hideous tracksuit will accompany him throughout the rest of the series. As we reached the second half of the series, everything got even more interesting as the anime now goes everywhere giving you an extensive genre to pick. Viewers will even have the chance to witness the best waifu war as Waifu-chan did her best to console Knight-kun from his demise. Later, as the story moves on...Re:Zero is now basically a clone of SAO and SAO2 where they all share the very same concept of bullshittery, that is the epic first half and an awfully pointless second half. The show sometimes makes you wanna turn away but you feel like it would get better soon except it didnt. At the end of the series...the show trod into an MMORPG path. In the end, nothing was revealed about anything and no mysteries were ever explained.
The level of art was fine and the animations were pretty decent especially during fight scenes, nothing too memorable as you will only get stuck with Knight-kun and Waifu-chan most of the time. Character designs do make each of the casts memorable and stand out on their own although Knight-kun can look much much more better.
The musics were something i always look forward to in an anime and it was a big let down. Both OPs and EDs were so awful i skipped it every episodes, even a substandard and shoddy anime or even a hentai would have had better OP than this. Soundtracks that worth remembering were few and far between. Never forget the music is something akin to a soul for an anime, its the driving force to draw audience in not make them turn away.
Now it goes without saying that Knight-kun probably had the most development followed by Waifu-chan. Witch-tan was so sidelined i'm not even sure if she even worth mentioning. One of the biggest turn off was Knight-kun's nature, although he gets most of the development he's just annoyingly optimistic and retardedly enthusiastic to the point where he spews nonsense disregarding other's opinion and prefers to remain in his own La La Land. What Re:Zero did even worst was the infamous Waifu-chan a.k.a Rem the biggest cuckquean ever as a saving grace so Re:Zero at the very least still have something good worth remembering at the end of the day.
I had fun watching the first 10 episodes but as it progresses, it turned into another clone of SAO. While at the very least SAO series still had great soundtracks, this one was plain garbage and every minute spent trying to finish the anime was a nightmare. I honestly had great expectation that it will have a completed story line but it was obvious it wont during the second half.
**If you like mentally challenged protagonists and cuckqueans, you found the right anime.
It has an incomplete story so...no bonus score.
My verdict : 4/10
This is anime should be defined as a garbage that was masterfully written into a masterpiece. At the end of the day, its still a garbage but one thats wear a crown.

Its probably high time that i should give a piece of my mind on this anime. Perhaps the word ecstasy would describe the show more since probably the production team was super high when making this anime. The unimaginable combos of multiple genres cramped in a 25 episodes of sex and explosions was what made it special and stand out among the rest. The story was so bad it was a brilliant roller coaster shitfest that would leave you craving for more at the end of every episode.
Cross Ange was a disaster of a storyline that combines action, sci-fi, mecha and ecchi all together in
...
one. Despite having only 25 episodes, the pacing was so well done that the director doesn't even let you use the toilet. But because of it's rapid story progression we are in for a good ride as Cross Ange doesn't just live in one world, or two... but multiple worlds. Oftentimes you will find watching Cross Ange is better than taking an LSD trip because most of the things doesn't even make sense but it all still comes together in the end. The world of Cross Ange constantly shoves new twists and turns down your throat leaving you craving for more and wondering what would happen next at the end of every episode. Follow our main girl Ange and her bunch of pariahs as they starts off as outcast to guardians of the galaxies before finally becoming the heroes of multiple timelines. The adventure of our female rights group will surely leave you thinking why the hell not give them their rights since you probably wouldn't even mind being dominated by one.
The art...especially character designs, were brilliantly made as each character had their very own unique and distinctive style to it. Their beautiful designs made them easily remembered and creates lasting impression. Although the female casts were "kinda" sexualized but nothing near the point of having physic wrecking boobies that makes you turn away. Cross Ange also presents us with a somewhat average but kinda handsome main guy and lets not forget our sassy but fabulous villian man. If you ask me my favourite girl? It has to be Ange or that sassy as f**k Hilda. Overall, the animation quality was decent although sometimes its obvious the studio yells budget cut when you saw a few recycled scenes or choppyass cgi. Nevertheless, it doesn't affect much of the anime itself since its few and far between.
Now the sound...no beating around the bush, its darn amazing. Be it combat sequences, emotional moments or even steamy bed scenes, Cross Ange bestows you a range of beautiful and irreplaceable soundtracks that accompanies you in your jerking sessions when watching this anime. Personally, my ears had great times getting penetrated by both OPs and EDs, i found them really fits the first and second half respectively.
Now, the character development was really appreciable since all the casts did get their very well deserved screen time. The diverse cast of females, specifically...had more to uncover and they did it marvelously, their character developments were completely fleshed out be it on the robot, off the robot...or even on the bed. Viewers had plentiful of opportunities to observe our casts up close and get to know them better. The male casts? Who cares! Actually, i found our main guy likeable although sometimes it felt like he was there for the female empowerment theme. And our villian guy was as cliched as ever but, his clichedness befits exactly the whole deranged storyline.
**I found Cross Ange really entertaining...really daring...everything was insane, the casts were beautiful, the great adventure through multiple worlds and the world building was simply fantastic...Cross Ange felt like it was written by an uber drunk madman who was really depressed and is ready to move on to the next world in order to find a place where he truly belongs.
It has a completed storyline so...bonus score!
My verdict : 10/10
This work of art right here is truly what i would call...a craptastic masterpiece.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are back with a brand new season of the hate it or love it Sword Art Online. What we saw in the first season was a nobody-kun but this time everything changed, nobody-kun is now...Jesus-kun. The fact that Jesus-kun was not "Jesus" enough in first season makes this SAO2 even better with even more asspulls and convenient tricks that only Jesus-kun can do.
The story...like its prequel...is divided in the first and second half respectively. Similar to its prequel, the first half was spectacularly made with epic storyline and an engaging world then comes the catastrophic mess of the second half where

its basically fap party with all of Jesus-kun's bitches all around him...poor Klein, he was JUST there as a comedic relieve. Our protagonist also grown into a genius majoring in mechatronics engineering and is also capable to bring Yui to the real world through his godly programming skills at just the age of 17. Jesus-kun is basically...the perfect man...capable of everything in both real and virtual reality, dependable and sometimes does some convenient asspulls.
The rest of the cast? meh...oh wait, we have Sinon. As per the rules of this anime...she was facing hardships, mental scars, yada yada yada and was later integrated into Jesus-kun's harem.
The art is probably the second best thing in this anime. Good and fluid animations and beautiful backgrounds. Animations during action sequence were really nice too.
Now, the music is best thing. The very well composed musics coupled with the atmosphere just gives you an eargasm, both OPs and EDs are great too. No complain about this one, as expected of the great Kajiura Yuki.
If you like animes with OP protagonists and convenient asspulls, this is the anime for you. The atmospheres are often great coupled with its eargasmic musics...Nice animations and waifu wars.
And as usual, its not a completed storyline so no bonus score.
My verdict : 6/10
**Tbh i found rating this 6 is too merciful coz this crap makes me wanna turn away sometimes but nevertheless i shall give face to the godly soundtrack.

Since this is my first time writing a review, i would keep this as simple as possible. Another reason i decided to write a review for this Tokyo Ghoul is because i felt the need to point out the problems in this season. Also, this whole review is written entirely in an anime viewers perspective only.
Story:3
In the first season, the story pacing was quite well as we see new characters being introduced gradually and given enough screen time to actually give viewers the idea of their backstory. I was expecting somewhat the same thing for season 2 but i was wrong. More and more new
...
characters were being introduced in a ridiculously short 12 episodes, heck even in the last episode. These characters' backstory are unknown, because they never get enough screen time except to appear in meetings and in the last few episodes to make it look epic. The story pacing failed so much it's so obvious they rushed it and ruined it.
Art:7
The art is good but i would say that the fighting scenes are actually a bit off and not as good as the first season. Other than that, nothing spectacular.
Sound:2
The OP suck so hard i actually gave it 2 because i believe no OP should have the MC to stand in the center for one and a half minutes while waiting for the song to finish. The song itself... is not good. So much disappointment compared to its prequel.
Character:3
In this second season, there is barely character development. As mentioned earlier, too many new characters are being thrown into this season and its only 12 episodes long. What development can you expect when the whole story pacing is so fucked up? The part that confuses me is that 10 minutes long walk kaneki did in the last episode... 10 minutes long with minimal dialogue and nothing else.

If you watched the first season , you probably would finish the second. If you are planning to watch the second season, i wouldn't recommend it but if you like leaving a bad taste in your mouth, go ahead. Since so many said that tokyo ghoul was so popular, i was hyped for the second season but unfortunately it was better if this sequel was never created. Perhaps it might be Pierrot's bad adaptation. I would love to rate this higher but 3 is already too much.

I can feel the anime has good potential ever since i watched the first season although i never read the original manga. But Season 2 is just completely garbage. What a waste...
