Hey!
Well, I haven't used this account in a while. Why not restart it; it must be fate if I still remembered my password.
I'm very picky with anime. Unless it has cute guys, stupid humor or haunting psychology, I probably won't like it very much. Regardless I will still give it a high score because my ranking is a semi-permeable membrane.
Because of that, I either really love slice of life animes (Silver Spoon, Daily Lives of High School Boys) or "psychological" animes (Psycho-Pass, Steins;Gate). And we can't forget Special A, which includes Kei Takishima. What a sweetheart.

Maybe you're right xD I haven't watched either of them in a while so maybe that's why I get them confused.
That's probably it then
Just a tip btw. Try maybe rewatching a show if you're going to review it.
I keep getting it confused with My Little Monster.
I literally can't tell them apart. I honestly believe Mei and Shizuku are the same people. And I get Haru and Yamato mixed up all the time.
Once I was trying to explain to my friend what Say I Love You was about, and I found myself getting really confused as I described Haru and Mei and a mixture between the two storylines.
Is it just me? Or do other people get confused too.
I can see the similarities but honestly it's very small similarities so I think you might be alone with getting them mixed up honestly.
But yeah, despite all that it did manage to be enjoyable, just not praise worthy. :P
I'm not much of a reader but if I ever obtain the motivation to read the Manga, I'll certainly do so.

I read your Akame ga Kill! review and you do bring up some excellent points about the characters, the story revolving around Tatsumi and the humour in the show. However, I feel like the show is a unbalanced. They tried too hard to appease the general anime fanbase rather than creating their own identity and it's certainly evident in the pacing and development of the story. For instance, why don't they just assassinate the Minister advising the emperor? Why is there little difference/growth when Tatsumi attains his Imperial Arms. I also believe the love interests are a bit forced but that isn't to say that they aren't interesting, they're just not told in a coherent manner.
The last episode was actually really well done and great for a conclusion to the story, the fight was epic and the it tied all loose knots. Sadly though the story doesn't really portray any emotional investment to the characters... Tatsumi's death, his relationship to the Captain (Ice Lady), the Emperor's motives, Akame's fight.
I enjoyed it but it certainly had its issues. I think a lot of the hate 3/4 reviews are from the manga readers and possibly viewers who shared my views. I rated it a 7 though.
