Kamiyama's TV series are amazing, especially the 2 cour ones. Ghost in the Shell, Seirei no Moribito and Higashi no Eden are excellent, and favorites of mine.

However, his movies are crap. 009 Re: Cyborg (and arguably the Higashi no Eden movies) was so disappointing that I don't even know how to describe how I felt after watching it...

That aside, when he's directing another TV series, I will definitely watch it, and KNOW it will be high quality! Easily best director I've come across; he's consistent in his directing too, unlike some directors who have great works then failures. (Excluding Kamiyama's movies of course - seriously! He can't condense his awesomeness...) Such a high quality person. :D
