When reading both of these titles you start to notice the similarities to one another.

both start out being more or less light hearted, as the story progresses they become much darker as the story and the characters start changing in unexpected ways, which can be both heartwarming and heartbreaking.
The story's it self are both nicely written as the authors pay attention to the details and symbolism, most everything is connected in someway which makes it interesting, like putting pieces of a puzzle together. This aspect especially in Pandora Hearts, when this is certainly true for Tsubasa, Pandora Hearts has more of a mysterious vibe, figuring out exactly what happened and why, when Tsubasa is more about the journey, doing what they can to change the situation they are in.
The art of the two manga's are also very similar, not just how its drawn but where the panels are placed and what affects they use, in both the art of the manga starts to improve quite a bit as the chapters progress, the art in the starting of both the manga are certainly not bad there actually really good, but the art does get more cleaner and detailed, particularly the shading in Tsubasa improves the most, when in Pandora Hearts the art improves altogether.
both of these mangas have similar genres, adventure, fantasy, drama. though both would be considered shounens (oddly even with its shoujo feel Tsubasa was published in Shounen Magazine. Most likely because of the blood and dark nature of the later volumes) they fall into a category more in between shounen and shoujo having the best of both. (If you had to pick between the two, Tsubasa would be more leaning towards shoujo when Pandora Hearts is more towards Shounen).

Some more smaller similarities, both search for scattered memories fragments both in their worlds and in others.
There are certain chapters where similar things happen to the characters, although I won't go into that because of spoilers.
Even some quotes are similar and remind you of one another, its like the authors seem to have the same type of ideas when writing.

If your a fan of one I'm sure you'd be a fan of the other, Highly recommended to anyone who has read either of these mangas, or even if you haven't. read more

Pandora Hearts and Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE have the main goal of the male protagonist trying to help the female protagonist get their memories back. There are some great conflicts, both mental and physical, that show in both series for that reason. There are a lot of character similarities as well: Break (PH) with Fai (TRC), Gil (PH) with Kurogane (TRC), and Shalon (PH) with (TRC). There are a few other characters that are similar to each other, but those are the main ones.

These stories have many similarities, like already mentioned by other recommendations before.. But these is not same, both is still epic in each it's own way..

Both story start with the fantasy theme where there is travel between dimensions, and the story advanced with the searching of main female character lost memories..
Both story is full with many beautiful trademarks like feathers, flowers, etc ...
Both stories is full of sad tragedies, you will be made to pity to the characters within ...

Pandora Hearts and Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE both takes place in a fantasy world where there are endless possibilities. Throughout both series, there is an conflict of identity issues and lost memory. The main male protagonist tries to help the main girl to get her memories back but faces difficult challenges throughout their journey. There are plot twists as other characters gets involved - both allies and enemies. Furthermore, there are moments of happiness and joy while there are also days of tragedy and sorrow. Recommended for fans of fantasy/adventure with a complex story.

If you like the complex plot twists and characters with mysterious pasts in Pandora Hearts, I suggest you read TRC. Its one of Clamps best works and like Pandora hearts it will mess with your mind. You'll love it :)

Both share other worldy type settings,plenty of twists and turns action as well as starting a young adult cast in it as well too with more strange events and intrigue happening as time goes by.

- Its theme's similar. Memories are scattered in unknown locales and they need to be discovered to understand the occurrence of unnatural events. 
- The characters have to travel from place to place.
- Enjoyable artstyle.
- Both of its animes have outstanding soundtrack.
- Each of them has gory twists and turns, and also hidden enemies.

xxxHOLiC addpermalink

If you're reading xxxHOLiC or Tsubasa but not the other series then you are missing out on part of the story. They are connected so you have to buy not just one series, but two! As they are both created by CLAMP they have a very similar style. xxxHOLiC is more focused on the supernatural stort stories which prop up main character development while Tsubasa is more character driven as the journeies they go through support them.

Even though both stories are very different with CCS having a lot of romance and TRC having a lot of action, they both become serious stories. Some characters from CCS are included in the TRC story.
Both manga are by CLAMP.

Clamp began to recieve hype with the publication of Magic Knight Rayearth. Here, you can find the original Mokona! <3 It is a magnificent story where three girls - Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu - are transported into a magical other world that they must save. It is a very nice, short story spanning over three volumes. Highly reccomended!

Kanata no Astra addpermalink

Both feature groups of people that do not previously know each other, and as the journey continues they find more and more about each member of the group.
The journey takes them to new and unknown planets (Astra) or dimensions (Tsubasa), in which they must fulfil a certain goal.
Astra is Sci-fi, while Tsubasa is more of a Fantasy genre, but the exploration and mystery themes are prevalent in both and they are both very enjoyable.

Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE is another series by CLAMP, both Subaru and Seishirou appear in Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE. Subaru as a vampire and Seishirou as a mysterious world traveler/hunter of Subaru. It is very interesting to see these two in a different kind of situation, anyone who enjoyed Tokyo Babylong would love Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE.

Both deal with memory loss, magic, love, and loss. Although  the plot lines differ a little I believe that if you enjoy one you will enjoy the other as well, although both can be quite saddening at times.

Both adventure series that involves some action and magic, that entwines with a bigger plot.

Magi is set in a fictional world where magic and and mythical things exists. The protagonists travel to different countries and get involved in the country's political affairs. It also features smaller quests to complete "dungeons".

Tsubasa follows a group who travel throughs different dimensions to search for the "feathers" or fragments of a Princess' soul. Each world has it's own rules and "science" in which the protagonists must learn to adapt in.

To get to the thing they want, there is some conflict with an opposing side which is made up by a majority of the antagonists. FMA and TRC share the same genres as well.

Throughout their journey, they learn more about their world and mysteries that surrounds their origins. Both series has relationship bonding between the main characters in which events becomes part of their influence. There is romance in both series as well that is expressed in innocent ways. Recommended for fans of fantasy and adventure with a host of mysteries.

Taking place in a fantasy-like realm, Tsubasa Chronicle and Sekai Oni bring out their world fiction at its best with the overly of its plot. The main characters gets themselves involved with events that blur between the lines of fiction and reality. Among other things, mystery is a strong factor with many cryptic events that connects to the premise. Sekai Oni has more psychological tropes as well as horror while Tsubasa Chronicle gives off an adventure feel.

Well...although these two manga doesn't have excatly the same type of plot, but the chatacter are re-used. This is Clamp's method of how they make manga. They are using the same character in another serie and made a cross-over-ish effect. You will find a lot of clamp's character again in the current serie you are reading. Of course, you have to read something that's written by Clamp.

Tsubasa is the biggest and longest story Clamp have written so far. It consists 28 volums and it both has romance and fighting. It suits both for people who likes action and a slight of romance in the plot. If you know how CLamp are designing the characters, then I got nothing to say. Surerly I can say that they all designed pretty, and good looking characers, which made the story more attractive.

If you have read Chobits, then you surerly know that the theme is quite deep. Chobits doesn't consist a lot of fighting scenes, only finding the true is the matter. In Tsubasa Reserviour Chronicle, there are plenty of deep themes that you will afterwards understand little by little. You will also realize something new to you and understand new things as well.

Afterwards, when you have finished the serie, you will get a strong urge to re-read it. After all, I still have that urge whithin me.

The best part of all; sooner or later, you will find those character again in another Clamp story! That's why I love Clamp's work. Their character never dies completely read more

A group of people go on a journey to find something, by traveling to many different places (worlds). Characters gain many things, experience new things, and deepen bonds with others. Both reads can get emotional at times, confusing at some times, and fun at many times. Characters are similar to one another, there is a swordsman, an animal, and one who uses kicks in each group. 

Both reads are enjoyable, if you've read one and enjoyed it, you may like the other.

In both mangas, a sweet and innocent girl goes off on a quest to obtain something that would get something she wanted/ get back something she had, but lost. They would both have to get more then 1 of what they wanted, to fill something up (in Tsubasa, she just needed all of her feathers back). Both girls find themselves falling in love with someone close to them along the way. Both girls are also supported by some mystical animal creature. Both works are also by Clamp. 

If you've read one and enjoyed it, you may like the other.

Both Syaoran and Teito went on a journey that seems to be unavoidable, but little do they know that Destiny/Fate has greater design for both of them, and their journey will one day bring them the truth of both their past and future. 

Friendship, Dreams, Parent love, Price of live, Journey in-search of lost memories ...

Many things showed during Syaoran and Sakura's journey is also told in 07-Ghost, and because 07-Ghost is much shorter than Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, its story has a faster development, which means it focused solely on the main plot and after you finished the whole series, you feel like everything is closely connected.

Overall, 07-Ghost is like a light-hearted Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, in terms of over all mood of the settings, but at the same time does not lack seriousness when come to touching or sorrowful moment.

-Traveling to different dimensions 
-Fulfilling wishes which must be returned in some way
-Friendship and strong bonds are very important elements in both
-There are twins! 
-And memory loss...
-The stories get kind of confusing towards the end, but somehow everything becomes connected in a strange way that (maybe) defies logic, and is smart at the same time!

I really recommend both!!

A little spoilerish to say why, but Hatenkou Yuugi goes about all of it's mind blowing psychedelics in a slice-of-life kind of way, while Tsubasa gets pretty intense... Lots of things in one manga occurs in the other one (you just have to get a good chunk into each of them to get to the good stuff!)

Sakura and Yona are both princesses of a country and ends up going on an adventure with their childhood friend/love interest. Syaoran and Hak are both strong characters and protective over their princess and whilst they both have feelings for their princess, it's more or less one sided :(

Storylines are not that similar but they're both adventure genre - but just beware the plot in tsubasa does get very convoluted till the end. Major difference is that AnY is shoujo and Tsubasa is shounen but to be honest, I think both have around the same amount of action to drama to romantic scenes

Personally I think the similarity is that both of the works has two characters who looks the same.  Moe Kare!! has two characters, which are half brothers who looks the same.  Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE has two characters, which one of them are real and another is clone, who looks the same.

D.Gray-man addpermalink

Plotwise, both series start off light and fluffy, but all of a sudden become dark and angsty after the story picks up; however, I would say the most similar thing between the two is the characters. In D. Gray Man, you have Allen, who is rather easy-going but fiercely dedicated to his mission when need be. His counterpart in Tsubasa would be Syaoran, who is an all-around friendly guy, but when it comes to the princess, he can be a little overprotective. Lenalee cares about her friends a lot in D. Gray Man, and Sakura does the same in Tsubasa. Lavi is the jokester who is challenged by his difficult mission, and Fai is the playful magician with a dark past. Likewise, Kanda is the strong and silent type, and is matched by Kurogane in Tsubasa. The characters are almost mirror images of each other. read more

Miyuki can also be found in the series Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle where she can be found in a cameo in each world that the characters visit. She is often found in large crowds. Every time she is found in the manga, it seems that she is in a hurry, sometimes running with a slice of toast in her mouth, which is a similar scenario in how which Miyuki is always running late to school in her original manga.
