They both have the same tone. Suffering and then winning is a major role in both. Though Love Mode is very light-hearted compared to this one they are both a must read. Recommended read.

Both ukes meet an older guy who changes their lives. They start to live together and both semes become very protective over their ukes. Somehow they find themselves in a master/pet relationship. You'll really like how both ukes are honest and straight forward. Yongou x Keibi is more light-hearted while Love Mode has lots of drama and has a special kind of feel in it that makes it memorable. If you're into age-gap and possessive lovers both are very recommendable. Side couples are loveable too. P.S. In Love Mode the art gets better over time. Don't just drop it when the first couple introduced. Keep  read more

Apart of the yaoi theme, they share the same dynamic type of story, a group of couples that know each other in the same world and you'll see how the couples fell in love, how are their love problems, etc.

Both Love Mode and Challengers are BL classics. They were created, when authors were still exploring the basics of the yaoi genre, thus you can find a lot of 'cliches'(Though they created those cliches in first place). Both have a standard set: slightly slow, but cute and forgiving uke and passionately in love, persistent, but guilt-ridden seme. Love Mode showcases an incredible collection of deep characters' backgrounds and drama with comedy elements, while Challengers ventures in a more innocent, romantic comedy type.

By the same artist that did ZE, Love Mode combines many characters and plots starting with high school student Izumi's blind date mix up with Takamiya (who is expecting a high class date from a gay dating club called Blue Boy). Drama, action, and silliness ensue. My favorite couple however are Shirakawa Naoya and Aoe Reiji (the owner of Blue Boy) who appear in volume 2 when Noaya is accidently knocked unconscious by a potted plant thrown out a window by Reiiji cheating girlfriend.

Epic-length BL (Boys Love) manga by authors who plan in advance.
