Kuuki no Soko or "Under the Air" is a collection of short stories with no overarching plot. Characters are unique to each story and there is no presumption of a shared universe. Each story has something unique and thought-provoking to say about the human experience, and while they're not all flawless, the quality of the collection is consistently high.
