Atashi Wa Bambi is just your not so typical highschool life filled with jealousy and romance. The story was a bit surprising and it can kind of make you cry in the end. It's really cute though.
I liked the way it has a twist in the end. It's not like other mangas where it's so obvious who the herione is going to hook up with, it's different. You don't really see/know whats coming next. :)

I expected a love triangle. What I got was completely different.
I won't give you a summary because the one MAL gave was pretty much it. And It says in the guidelines not to :(... The characters are adorable and the heroine is not annoying like most. This would have been the typical shojo manga had it not been for Yaezou. His characters was essential for this manga to go above the shojo category. It's a struggle of accepting yourself and not being afraid to let others really see you. Mai, at first seems like your typical girl who underwent a makeover and targets Sen, an all around ...

At First, i didn't really want to read this manga because i think it's not original like the girl had a makeover and a handsome guy likes her and they live happily ever after!
BUT When i started reading it, i can't let go of it anymore! It was really great! Try reading it and see for yourself. I didn't expect the story to express so much emotions. It was really unique for me... The story is really different from other mangas. I really liked how the story progresses.

Oh My Gosh. This Is So Amazing You Don't Even Know. This Is Defiantly Not Your Typical Manga, The Ending Is Defiantly Not What You Think. I Love All the Characters. Don't look At This And Say oh I Know How It Goes Because You Don't. What Makes Me Laugh about this is Once You Think You Know the Ending, The unexpected Happened. The Ending Is Sorta A Cliff Hanger But It Works With This Manga. And In The Middle You do Sorta Wanna Cry Of Sadness, pity And Un-believe-able-ness(Lol). And In The End You Want To Laugh (I Did) Or Cry Of ...

this is my first review...so....
so anyway, i've read alot of shoujo manga, and some get pretty tiring cuz they all have the same boring storyline. girl falls in love with boy, boy likes her back. boy and girl date, new rival comes along, lots of drama, boy and girl get together in the end. typical. wit this story, i thought "this is probably gonna be the same as anyother." but i enjoy reading new things so i decided to try this one out. when i started reading it, i was hooked. u never know what to expect in this story. there are so many twists ...

Atashi wa Bambi has a nice, but still predictable twist. It is a bit more realistic than most, though, which what I enjoyed most about it. The plotline and artwork were done well enough to keep my attention through to the end. I was also able to empathize with the main character, which I am not always able to do with some manga. All in all, worth the read.

Story is about a girl who comes to high school wanting to change her image after being bullied in middle school. She falls for a boy whose nice to her and his best friend tells her to "back off cuz he's his". So there's the twist...
Story 9/10: It was different from the typical shoujo. The girl doesn't get to date the boy she was originally after.. any more and I'll spoil the story.. Art 8/10: It was typical for this style. Big eyes, expressive faces, decent background. Character 9/10: I liked the characters in this story. They're supportive of each other and grow throughout the story ... |
