Preliminary (7/88 chp)
Honestly Team Black Prince all the freaking way!!! Love triangles are just the best and this one is one of my favorite love triangle mangas!

Story 9/10
Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai is about a girl who was plain in middle school (honestly she really isn't) decides that her high school life will be different! Upon her adventure through high school, she begins to like the school idol, the white prince, who always hangs out with the black demon, a guy who is rumored to be very dangerous (doesn't really sound that dangerous when I state it), and doesn't like him, hanging with the white prince. ...

A strong female in a shoujo manga YES AT LAST. Ive been trawling through so many annoying cry baby girls and finally a girl with some guts.
The story goes as this: the main girl is chasing after the "prince" in the school when she comes across the "Black Devil". Her parents decide to move her into the dorm where the prince and devil also live in the dorm. From there we see them interact in school. Only one chapter so far so thats all there is to say.
Only one chapter published so far and loving it, hopefully the next one will come out soon!! (its ...

Why did I start reading this manga? It has been one of the worst decisions of my life.

“The female lead is strong, and she does not let herself get pushed around as the other shoujo’s protagonists do”, they said.
“The male lead is handsome and he hides a good and kind side”, they said.
Lies. Terrible lies. And the worst is that I always want to finish what I start. This means that now I am condemned to read every single chapter untill the end of the manga. Eighty-eight chapters. I will die.
The female lead is strong only in the first episode, then she ...

I. LOVE. THIS. BOOK. Seriously.
This is definitely a shoujo manga, which means love triangles, love between boy and girl, complications, and (hopefully!!!) a happy ending.
So far, this manga has made my day. I was amidst reading this super depressing manga, but as soon as I just saw this book again, I felt better immediately. It's a pure feel-good book.

So the story is typical for a shoujo, you know boy meets girl because of an event that brings them together... etc etc. But what makes this one outstanding is the characters: they aren't shallow at all.
They're depicted with depth, the girl isn't a ...

Short Review, after reading like 52 chapters I think this manga is not that bad. It's just your regular shoujo manga. Nothing too serious but nothing too naive. At the beginning, it kinda looks like some crap story with two hot guys chasing a plain.. more like a rudimentary girl (was a bit annoying). But the best thing about this manga which makes it stand out, in my opinion, is the character development. IT HAS A STORY WITH EMOTIONS. Art gets better too.

Story is simple. Two hot guys: white and black. White popular. Black Demon. Girl likes white. Black kinda likes girl. Girl realizes ...

I think I read enough of this to get a general idea of what this story is like. Want to read a typical shoujo story with a questionable foundation? Well, this is the read for you!

Defying Kursosaki-Kun is about Yuu who likes Shirakawa, but ends up pissing off Kurosaki, his best friend by causing trouble at the dorms. Kurosaki decides that he wants to discipline Yu by kissing her and the story progresses from there.

A typical story where a girl falls in love with an asshole guy who is constantly kissing her when she doesn't want to. She falls in love with him because she ...

Preliminary (28/88 chp)
To all those who like to read about cold, distant, devilishly handsome and perfect main character with sadistic tendencies and a gutsy, strong-willed yet sensitive and caring main heroine, THIS IS THE MOST SUITABLE MANGA TO YOUR TASTE.

This is not your typical shoujo manga of boy-meets-girl, no, They know each other as they're classmates, BUT they get to know each other BETTER after a certain circumstance, and that is our heroine Yuu's transfer to the school dorm where the famous white prince and infamous 'black devil' reside.

The plot is set in school setting and tells about how Yuu sets off with her new self ...

Honestly this is just your normal run of the mill shoujo manga. But for some reason I happen to find it extremely entertaining.

I've only been able to get my hands on like 25 chapters or so and I like it way more then I thought I would. Yuu is just your average shoujo protagonist who happens to slowly fall for Mr. kURoSaKI-kUN. Kurosaki on the other hand, I happen to find extremely funny. It's like sure he's introduced as the super dark scary guy, BUT he stays the dark scary guy. I love how he just uses his weird sense of logic and converts "yUU ...

Kurosaki-Kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai is an experience for me. A story to be told. A journey to the past that takes me back to a different time where the world was a lot smaller to me. 2019.

Among the few thousands of non-Japanese speaking people that have read through this manga to the end I must be in the even fewer that aren't actually into this type genre. Run-of-the-mill Shoujo manga, Why would I ever read this? Simping, of course. I was chasing someone, and heard this was what she was reading, and you bet I tore through the 40 chapters available at the ...

So I started few days ago and I get to vol.6
The beginning was great, totally great of everything, but yes there is huge understandable about main character Akabane, Yuu, like for real person it is totally not natural, you thinking about someone who you like to know more, to make better impression in your head and you doing that, at least normal people do that. In story she Akabane, Yuu is totally in mind, just in mind about black prince Kurosaki, Haruto but when I read about her action to him, it is totally opposite side, what is wrong? why? I don't ...

I personally found this manga to be amusing and funny. There's a lot of growth and character development and it follows a clear plot line. I'll minus points due to certain overused tropes that I won't ruin. I personally enjoyed the direct confrontations the scheming ( for good reasons) the in your face shock that's meant to get a kick out of you. I was enjoyable. The whole consent thing wasn't an issue I don't think everything is meant to be so cut and dry and as they never went beyond a certain limit like a pervy groper would I had no issues here.

Art: Very ...

Ok so the beginning had me skeptical but bear with it. I went from dubious feeling to totally in love. The male character has so much depth behind him that you can’t help but relate. Easily adding this to my favorites collection. The female lead comes off as someone I can relate to. Sometimes we fall in love against our own judgements. The heart knows way before the brain can accept it. That is the feeling I get reading this. Sometimes we need to look beyond the words someone is saying and to find truth. It is definitely a piece that shows there are different ...
