Modeling is the career path for the mc's of both of these shoujos. Runaway no Koibito is darker as she has less friendship and support and more opposition on her way along that path while in Aozora Pop, she has friends and it is more light hearted. Both of the girls must deal with a parent in the industry and being compared to them and wanting to succeed on their own merit.

They both had something to do with fame and love. The main characters is quite similar.

Both girls are trying to make it big in an industry they are new in and both have a very special talent in both. The girls are also joining the industry with influence from their mothers who have made their names big in the industry before but do not want the public to know. The big difference is the in Honey Hunt, she resents her mother and wants to crush her in her own game while in Aozora Pop she wants to follow in her late mother's footsteps.

It`s both about modelling and it both has love triangles. I sooo love them! Both of them also has the main character that slowly comes out of her shell and becomes more confident in herself. If you like brilliant magic, you`ll love aozora pop.
