Obviously there are too many manga set in Tokyo to list all in one stack, precedence is given to those that highlight unique Tokyo shitamachi or culture.

this is the list of mangas that focus on a certain subject whether its a certain hobby, sport, music (like instruments), interest, or even to the most obscure subject possible. this type of manga tends to be quite informative about the subject their covering and could possibly use as entertainment education manga (in some cases)

I've been into these kind of manga but never stuble any fixed term, genre, or tags for it since the subject these manga covers may vary and even obscure, but at the same time, somehow you can categorize it into a single type of genre

The psychological genre is one that has boundless freedom in exploring it's themes, since the topic of human psyche, how it behaves and it's patterns are something far too personal and individual.

The works that usually are part of this genre or has elements of it in them are ones that drives their readers into contemplation - about themselves, of the presented world, as well as their own, and how shockingly similar or different they appear.

Often times the art can be radical, provocative and avant-garde, or nuanced and subdued, but in all of these works, it does strives to accomplish one thing - to provoke us to think outside the box, to present us worlds or people that are inherently broken, but which has their importance and meaning, and which are not afraid to challenge our currently established worldviews.
