Main Heroines of these series both wish to conquer the planet whilst trying to save it from another force. They also share the same joyful atmosphere.

Aliens and really cute art with fluffy light hearted romance feels.

I got very similar vibes when reading both series. There is a boy and a girl, who are connected by what happened in their past, and the girl is not human. The past history is uncovered step-by-step and progressing the story. There are some fantasy fights too, and very slight romance undertones.

When reading these two series, I find an odd connection between them. For instance, there's the alien invasion idea that becomes part of their storytelling. Then, there's the sci-fi culture that is adapted into a rather unorthodox format combining elements of surreal creativity and slice of life. Both series are also known for their relationship dynamics (Hitoriboochi has subtle romance though)

Both series follows a story with supernatural themes and a strange female protagonist who is a proclaimed alien that came from another planet. The general premise of both series are different but they share a familiar atmosphere with the nature of the story building. At the same time, there are also connections that are crafted between the two main leads despite their different personalities. Both series also has a slice of life-like atmosphere with their pacing. Recommended for fans who are interested in a typical sci-fi/drama.

Spirit Circle and Hitoribocchi no Chikyuu Shinryaku delivers fantasy and sci-fi in style. The main male protagonist encounters a strange girl that seems to have connections with him. Throughout the story, we learn more about this girl as well as their origins. In addition, the story reveals more details that has influence in the present story. Expect unorthodox gimmicks in both series.

A young boy meets a strange girl, and start an even stranger relationship. While one girl is simply quirky, the other claims to be an alien.
