This review is only for story 6: Advent Prince, which is all I could find.
I'm not too familiar with the works of Ryuu Yuuhi but I wasn't the biggest fan of her art in this. In normal form, both characters looked mechanical and neither's face shone in any scene or sparkled when they laughed or sighed intimately.
As for the story, you would think you're going to see some depth to the characters if a popular prince-like character is interested in a homely looking girl, but apparently it's only for the mangaka's convinience that he fell for her back in middle school, and he's had a
...
crush on her an year now. This is Prince (no kidding, his name IS Prince!) who at the onset of their high school life finds himself on the committe with the self proclaimed monkey looking Karen. While walking back the conversation SOMEHOW leads to him asking her out and the general nonsense ensues when a less than gorgeous girl is asked out by the class heartthrob. Mean girls bully her, she acts awkwardly self consious and besotted, but refreshingly, she's not one to be saved and stands up for herself. Good girl!
The first kiss scene is hilarious (in it's setting, not the effect), and if you're going to be reading this one, I would recommend just skimming over to the end for it. But for serious(?!) shoujo readers, stand clear of this story, you will seriously be wondering where the last five minutes of your life went if you squander them on this story.
