Well I am very late to the party, aren't I? First of all my condolences for the death of the author of this series, which means that this story is ending off on a cliffhanger for all of eternity.
The plot and characters of this series were delightful to read, with me binging the 20 chapters of the story in an hour or two. Though I wouldn't recommend anybody to read this series as you will feel rather empty like me when your left grasping for a climax that will never come.
The saddest part was that this manga was in ... fact really good, and I am grateful to the late author that he at least gave us a glimpse into the world of these characters even if it was cut short.
I don't regret reading this manga though maybe not read it if you don't feel like spending time to ponder about what an ending this series deserved.

tl;dr: A manga with an interesting protagonist and an interesting story around solid short mysteries, though one without any sort of conclusion. 

This manga has an interesting protagonist in that he’s a complete jerk, though due to being terrible at socializing and not because of malice, but generally has enough good will and the competence to act on that good will such that others end up respecting him. This mainly comes from him dealing with various problems using his amazing deductive skills. Hence, while it doesn’t sound like it from most descriptions, this is actually mostly a detective series with Nishigami as the detective. These cases are mostly ... good, with the weaker exceptions being the first which felt overtly messy and the last which felt rushed. But it was kind of strange in that the larger plot, the one centered around Hahane, resurrection, and Akira only kind of fit into these mysteries. Rather, Akira only has a minimal involvement in most of the cases, and the overarching plot was mostly shown spread around the cases. Hence, Akira ended up feeling really underdeveloped for the main heroine and also kind of boring. This combined with Nishigami’s personality being really awkward made most of the plot revolving their relationship kind of annoying. The overarching plot did get developed pretty well though, with it slowly revealing various facts about how the resurrection system works, giving what will likely be crucial aspects of characters backgrounds, and foreshadowing a number of interesting plot threads that are likely to arrive further in the story. Hence, I was quite invested in seeing where the story would go. However unfortunately this never happens as the manga abruptly ends before anything is resolved without any sort of ending. I feel bad about viewing this as a negative attributed to this work, because it is due to the incredibly unfortunate fact that the author fell ill and eventually passed away, but ultimately, I view works independently from their creator so while am certainly not blaming the author for this in the slightest and am thankful for the work that was produced, in the end I decided this was just the way I felt and not something I could avoid. The art was decent enough. 

i think the stories very enjoyable, and i take time to write this review cause i respect the deceased author and want to tell people out there that this manga is worth to read, very enjoyable. the character and the plot was great. with some humour and some misteries and dont forget about drama & romance.

u will not boring to read this manga. i am glad i can read this manga event if end up with cliffhanger cause the author was fighting cancer and died baecause of it.

this the first i review anythings that i had watch and i had read. and i enjoy ... it. i hope you are people have same felling. thank u for everyone that read this review and thank you for the author that make this briliant work. rest in peace author SHINKIBA Yuki
