I initially struggled to outline what "sexually explicit manga" exactly means, but I ultimately went with "any manga where a sizeable portion of its content consists of considerably perverted or sexual acts, subjects, imagery, etc."

The content does not have to be titillating, meaning something like Berserk counts too, which obviously is not meant to arouse you (unless you have questionable fetishes).

Of course, this list will NOT include straight up hentai. Erotica or borderline hentai is okay, though I will mostly try to avoid them.

If you've had enough life and love experience to have a decent understanding of how things actually work (and how they don't), you realize that the way manga and anime typically portray romance is lacking, to say the least. And also generally horrible, if I'm being honest. But some are clearly written by people who know what's up—and you should check them out.

This is a list of printed works featuring characters who:
* exhibit authentic romantic chemistry with each other;
* have charisma and/or sex appeal and aren't afraid to use it;
* are able to hold mutually engaging conversations on different subjects;
* have three-dimensional personalities that are interesting and relatable outside the context of their relationships;
* go above and beyond the stale tropes in their relationship;
* otherwise behave like people tend to in non-imaginary relationships.

Includes well-written same-sex/LGBTI romance that complies with the principles above.

Includes stories that explore toxic/unhealthy relationships and relationships that don't end well but are still true to the real-world experience.

Includes stories that aren't completely focused on romance but have it as one of the core elements of the storytelling and character progression.

This list constitutes my personal views and stances. Feel free to shoot me suggestions via DMs but make sure you have a convincing argument if it's not something that's already on my main manga/anime list. I don't promise it'll end up here but I will consider all suggestions.

This list is printed-works-only because many of these don't have an anime equivalent and I don't want to multiply effort. Entries that have anime adaptations may be experienced better as such (I have noted it in the descriptions where applicable).

Finally, these lists are just a part of the vast and wonderful world that the Manga.

Manga that features twisted characters with toxic behaviors. Some are serious psychological stories that dives deep into toxic behaviors in a way that isn’t glamorized, while others are edgy trash that are just fun to read if you’re in that mood. I’ll tag them as “serious” or “edgy” in the descriptions of each manga.

Piece of fiction that is often seen disregarded by the major of the community. These works include various elements such as: tidy exposure, full-frontal nudity, extremely weird fetish, NTR, torture, gore, slaughter, etc. Characters are usually depicted as being mentally unhinged and would likely commit appalling atrocities on a whim.

Just like alcohol is bad for your health yet you still enjoy it regardless, you may also bluntly admit that these works are poorly written and even call them trash but on the contrary, you secretly like them for some personal reasons.

Po czasie ich działaność rozszerzyła się o polskie komiksy inspirowane stylem mangowym oraz doujinshi komedie oparte na wcześniej powstałych już tworach (np. As per title, a list of ecchi mangas with a good serving of nudity, that isn't borderline-H, but doesn't censor nipples either. Must have at least a decent plot. For people with such a specific taste.

PS: There's an additional manga I can't find here called 'Unique Skill: Slave Encyclopedia'. It only has one Vol., but looks promising!
