- They both have to deal with the porn industry - In both mangas one charatcer is introduced to the industry by meeting someome who works in there. - In Shinjulu Lucky Hole, the AV industry is kind of the main theme that the story is centered around, while in Castle Mango the theme is more about love hotels and first love. - If you liked one, you might like the other. Keep in mind that while Castle Mango is pretty tame and more like a Shounen-Ai, Shinjuku Lucky Hole is more violent and with more sex scenes

This review includes the sequel of Hinekure as well. Now I'll admit, the premises of both these manga are remarkably different. However, after having read both back to back, I've realized that both of them give off a similar vibe - a very kind, loving and caring seme that takes responsibility of the uke, a strong willed and spunky uke that doesn't lose his personality traits the moment he falls in love with the seme, misunderstandings created bc of the stand off-ish nature of the seme, avoidance of most BL tropes, realistic and healthy relationships between our MCs, and ofc, more than 6-7 chapters worth of  read more

Both are kind of like. . . two guys fall in love at some kind of office or work place. The art is similar, too. :3 Actually, if you liked Castle Mango, you'll like just about everything by Doushitemo Furetakunai's author, cause I certainly do. :u

Both manga have characters that come to love one another naturally under different circumstances. Out of all the yaoi/shounen ai manga I've read, these are definitely my favorite. A similar warm atmosphere found in slices of life are common in both theses titles.

Both bl reads feature an older love interest with a stubble, paired with a student lover. Both manga are truly enjoyable reads where the relationship between the couple develops at a more gradual pace, and where the mangaka really gets to flesh out the personality of the characters.

Castle Mango and Hana wa Saku ka don't share the same story or anything totally similar in particular, but both have "oyaji" seme and young uke in a slow-paced relationship. Neither of them have smex or cliche scenes, it is shounen-ai and they both tell how two guys meet and start falling slowly in love. I recommend the other if you like any of them...
