Orange Planet (Manga)

{MAY CONTAIN VERY SLIGHT SPOILERS! I'M VERY SORRY!}

STORY
The story is VERY simple and quite common in shoujo titles, and, of course, everyone knows that there is most likely to be a love triangle (we gals love 'em though! XD). The reason I only gave the story a 7, is because it's nothing special. For example, it's not got magic in it, it's not got action in it and it definitely hasn't got any horror in it (sorry, I threw that in 'cause I love it!). Nothing big happens in each chapter, but after about 5 of them, you start to think loads of things have happened. But, why do I love it? I really don't know. Maybe because it's bittersweet...?

ART
Haruka Fukushima is one goddess at drawing manga. It's clean, flowing and you understand everything that happenes in each panel. Everything is in perspective. Anyway, I look up to Haruka and her drawing skills.

CHARACTER
The character designs aren't special (for example, they don't have their own hairstyles), but that's normal right? I mean, you don't see a person with rainbow coloured hair next to a person with shaved blue hair one side and really long white hair on the other? DO YOU?! (<- went off topic I think). I like all the character's personalities because this manga makes sure you can't hate any of them, and their ages are about 15-17 and Eisuke is about 20 (?).

ENJOYMENT

I have been with this series for about 4-5 months, and I have read all 19 chapters that are out in Japan so far (as of 22/09/2007). I have never been bored with this series because I have been fantasizing with it every month, hoping Rui to get together with ******. To me it seems like this series will end with 5 (possibly 6) volumes.
