The royal palace of the kingdom of Alba Forest received one letter of advance notice. That is, "We shall take the last treasure left behind by the late king to his beloved daughter, Violet." The sender of that letter was a group of robbers called the "Three Beasts." When Violet meets one of them by chance, the crow, her life changes greatly...!

This is one of the few shoujo mangas where I felt really satisfied with the ending. ;) I love how the princess is a strong-willed and open-minded one and not the type to be easily swayed by other people's words and actions. Violet and Crow's personalities are a perfect mix for me. Kuchinawa and Renard are interesting characters too! I'd give this series a 9/10.. I would have given it a perfect 10 if it were a bit longer. >.< Anyways, love this series, this is definitely a must read!

I have to say that story-wise, I was quite satisfied. This is a great coming-of-age story about a princess that leaves the castle to discover the outside world. She discovers how other people live and uncovers the past of the characters she travels with. Furthermore, there is enough light hearted humor to balance the more serious aspects of the plot.

The travelers move from town to town and encounter a lot of characters, and a lot of times they put themselves in danger to complete a certain mission, the princess included. Though Violet can't defend herself at first because of her upbringing as a pampered princess, read more

This was a super cute and enjoyable manga. The characters were absolutely wonderful and they developed so well in the span of just 12 chapters. I wouldn't have minded if this were lengthened into a much more complex and detailed story. And even while I definitely could have continued to read much much more of this, the ending was still very well done and left me feeling pretty satisfied and It was not too heart wrenching to say goodbye to the characters and move on to my next discovery. (I often have a difficult time allowing my heart to find a new manga to love). read more

Manga: Akatsuki no Yona
The main idea about the plot is basically the same: The main character is a princess that doesnt know anything about the outside world however thanks to some events they start an adventure outside of their homes and start to see that their kingdom and the whole world is not really the way that they thought it was. both princess have their special charm that will atract you

Manga: Aoki Umi no Toraware Hime
Both plots are based on a princess who is kidnapped by a group of people and the princess soon becomes friendly with her kidnappers. I think Aoki Uni no Toraware Hime is a bit more serious, but Himegimi to Sanbiki no Kemono has more character development. Both are great mangas!

Manga: Himitsu no Himegimi Uwasa no Ouji
Both princesses have lived a very sheltered life in the castle and wish to explore their surrounding. In Himitsu she wants to meet her betrothed, in Himegimi she wants to travel and learn more abut her kingdom and her subjects.

Manga: Vampire Game
In both of these the princess, main character, wants to explore and leave the home she knows with a newly discovered male companion.
In Himigimi, Violet is exploring to learn more about the world outside of her castle.
In Vampire Game, Ishtar is on a quest to find the reincarnation of her ancestor to get revenge. Because of her ancestor's rules, she has to live her life in a certain way and can't marry outside of the royal family.
Both are shoujo, romantic, adventure typed genres.

Manga: Boukyaku no Shirushi to Hime
Both are very sweet, cute, feel good mangas. The main couples are also very similar, starting out misunderstanding and stumbling with each other but in the end become a lovey-dovey couple.
