Not at all similar in terms of plot, but the interactions between characters made me think of Boku-Hen (Our Abnormalities/Our Transformations - don't let the title misslead you, it's not about perverts, i swear) when reading The Princess and the Three Beasts. Mostly between one of the secondary characters (Ryousuke and Renrard) and the heroine (Marika and Violet). While the characters from the opposing manga do have different personalities, we see the male show support towards the girl and tries to help her. It's more than that, it's mostly the lingering atmosphere that i cannot describe). Boku-Hen is also more serious and psychological, delving in darker  read more

Its about a girl who meets some men and go on an adventure. Although in Hatenkou Yuugi, its her father that kicks her out unlike Himegimi where she was stolen. Yuugi is much longer but has character development and nice romance like Himegimi. If you like one, im sure you'll like the other. A bounus is that Hatenkou Yuugi has an anime but it doesn't follow the manga as much as you'd expect. It bends how and when you meet certain characters and the anime doesn't continue threw the whole manga. It stops at a fairly good point but it ends as if it were  read more

The main idea about the plot is basically the same: The main character is a princess that doesnt know anything about the outside world however thanks to some events they start an adventure outside of their homes and start to see that their kingdom and the whole world is not really the way that they thought it was. both princess have their special charm that will atract you

Both plots are based on a princess who is kidnapped by a group of people and the princess soon becomes friendly with her kidnappers. I think Aoki Uni no Toraware Hime is a bit more serious, but Himegimi to Sanbiki no Kemono has more character development. Both are great mangas!

In both of these the princess, main character, wants to explore and leave the home she knows with a newly discovered male companion. In Himigimi, Violet is exploring to learn more about the world outside of her castle. In Vampire Game, Ishtar is on a quest to find the reincarnation of her ancestor to get revenge. Because of her ancestor's rules, she has to live her life in a certain way and can't marry outside of the royal family. Both are shoujo, romantic, adventure typed genres.

Both princesses have lived a very sheltered life in the castle and wish to explore their surrounding. In Himitsu she wants to meet her betrothed, in Himegimi she wants to travel and learn more abut her kingdom and her subjects.

Both are very sweet, cute, feel good mangas. The main couples are also very similar, starting out misunderstanding and stumbling with each other but in the end become a lovey-dovey couple.
