They both center around a main character who uses tricks and psychology to get money from their targets.

They are both strategical and both contain secrets that need to be discovered. Both the main protagonists are intelligent, in their own fields.

The greater the risk the greater the reward. Catch a glimpse of ecstasy when dangerous bets are placed.

Battle Royale and Gamble Fish pits characters against one another in deadly games. The consequences for losing a game is disastrous as the main characters witness its cruel reality. Both series' main characters has strategic minds and we see their intellect throughout the story. Battle Royale follows a more survival game oriented story while Gamble Fish adapts gambling mechanics with a variety of themes each arc.

The protagonist and his friends compete in high stakes games, with each opponent having their own uniquely designed game similar to how the death games in Worldend:Debugger are all unique and vary by opponent.

The protagonists gives almost the same vibe, they both go to the extent to gamble about life. They are both considered "strong characters". Their personalities are quite the same as well. Usogui is a more "heavy"" manga, while Gamble fish is kind of an easy going manga but I enjoy them both because of the male protagonists.

Shounen manga about the main character winning in impossible situations, making new friends with each arc, and just generally being awesome. A lot of games and tricks.

Both manga focus on how to overcome your opponent using psychological tricks and cheating.

The protagonist is a genius teenager who has little to no regard for his own life as he bets it against vast sums of money. Also, mindgames.

Both series have a super intelligent male protagonist who is doing life-or-death gambles for a great deal of money/high stakes. The difference is that Gamble Fish also has some "romance" or at least a harem with some very ecchi moments, whereas Tobaku Haouden Zero has more moments about friendship and trust and no romance whatsoever. Both series involve high stakes gambles and tense moments. Zero is burdened with protecting those around him though, whereas the lead in Gamble Fish really only risks himself mainly (though this changes a bit in some gambles). Zero is more high stakes overall, and he risks his life more times in  read more

Same kind of ego in the main character and both are kinda tricksters and manipulators. Death Note is obviously darker and Gamble Fish has more comedic characters. I enjoyed them in the same way, love to watch the puzzle and try to figure it out before they reveal the answer to me.
