The obvious similarity pertains mostly to the main female characters of both manga, tiny but very proud and violent. Taiga even looks almost exactly like Louise except with brown hair.

Boy suddenly have to attend a supernatural school, with him being the only "human" there. He meets a cute girl and sooner or later they begin to like each other and so on...Rosario and Zero share almost the same amount of romance, action, ecchi, and comedy.

Both of these serialisations feature very similar narratives, characters, and settings.

Both brings a real historical context into a fantasy/sci-fi set-up. Zettai Karen Children is relatively accurate (excluding the sci-fi elements) in the WWII while Zero no Tsukaima brings only small details from Renaissance Europe into a fantasy world. Both use alternate names from the countries/cities to make those references a little more obvious without entering in problems with the real facts. Besides that, both walk in the path between action manga and romantic comedy.

Principally they are romantic comedies/harems, but they have a serious side story as background. Both about a guy that reach a "special" school (for mages and for monsters, respectivelly), and fall in love with the first girl he finds, but other girls try to sneak it.
reportRecommended by BlindNoldor
A guy travels to a fantasy world where he finds a girl and enters into a master/servant relationship (although the opposite in each one). The guy falls in love and have to decide between returning to his own world or to stay in that world with the girl.

The two series are alot alike. A made up world with magic and dragons as partners. In Seikoku a boy gets a girl as a partner and in zero the reverse. The Characters ar almost identical. They have the exactly same feel in everything, romance, action and comedy. If u liked one you will like the other.

The plot outline for both manga is very much the same. The main character meets a girl/boy and their life is change forever, as the protagonist is thrown into a world of supernatural. Both have romance, loli, and action.

Both about magic in a fantasy world but with a heavy resemblance to medieval Europe and Middle-Eastern. The names of the countries, the cultures even some of the battles are inspired in real history.

They both have the loli 'tsundere' thing going on. A bit of action and ecchi. But Zero no Tsukaima leans more to the romance side, though..

both are girls that somehow have the ability to summon a guy to protect them, despite the fact that the plot it's not exactly the same both kinda give you the same magic, romance and fantasy feeling enjoying they everyday school life
reportRecommended by karlala
In both, the male protagonist is unexpectedly placed in a fantasy world in which he meets with a tsundere female character.

in both there is the "high and mighty" not so good at magic girl, a summoning that leads to sevatude ( although the one summoned is turned around). the feel of both are the same but PuiPui has less pervy jokes.
reportRecommended by Entheal
Strong tsundere girls and the helpless boys from another world that they enslave and toy with. Shinigami is way shorter 9for now) but has the potential to be as entertaining as Zero in the future. Also, both the female leades have the washboard lolita look.

Both titles are about magic, a witch and a servant. Both titles also have a bit ecchi in them.

both manga are held in magical schools and both protagonists have no magical powers to start. Though they differ with ZnoT having to deal with nobility and royalty in a different dimention and Mx0 dealing with magical zones and school bullying both are very good reads. So, if you enjoy one i believe that you will enjoy the other.

There is a master and servant relationship, but it is barely noticeable in kagetora while is it really prominent in zero no tsukaima. While reading they evoke the same emotions.'
