I hope your watching the sub because its way better that way. The humor flows better also. I gave that series a 10....so good....but not a favorite for some reason. Man, I'm so sore from this week alone and especially those 7 miles.

I just have to agree with Sorrow on that one, we used to have 60% compatibility and we are now down to ... drumroll please ... 50%
That's 10% difference since the summer started!!! That's rather hight. (Just think if my stock jumped up 10%, I'd be rich.)

No, it's not the series condensed at all. It's a stand alone movie that takes place in the same universe with the same characters but it follows a completely different plot. Like it starts off with him capturing the dragon mech and learning how to use it and it goes from there.
But it is not a remake of the series or a condenced version of the series. I just meant that it had the same feel as the series did. It was very dramatic and well-done like the series.

Yeahm but seriously the Escaflowne movie is one of the best one-shot movies that I have ever seen. (At least the best one with mechs.) I don't know ... it just seemed to get everything in the series condenced into 2 hours and it did it without sacrificing character development or any of that.

Also, saw that you plan to watch Escaflowne. It's a decent series but personally I think that the stand-alone movie is better. Look that up after you get done with the series, I think you'll like it.

Okay, because the sub is actually much better than the dub simply because the opening theme is much better and all the voices fit the characters better.
Also, I noticed you are watching the new Guyver. I personally didn't like the new one but if you want to see something cool, check out the original. It's a classic.
