I read this with high expectations knowing how highly it is rated.. so here goes.

Story: Great story. The ending is a bit iffy for me, but I know if I spend some time dissecting it I will all come together (I hope).

Art: Art is crisp and clean.

Character: The characters of the story were great, they played integral parts of the plot and I loved it.

Enjoyment: I wanted to read more and more about this little girl's life. I wanted to know what all the characters had to do with each other. I definitely enjoyed it.

Overall: Very good. I do recommend it.

I will say I'm not a person who really reads a lot of manga at all and especially random ones that I picked up at the book store without any research or knowledge about it. I mainly only read manga of anime I'm currently watching that won't have a season 2 or a final season that I just want to know the ending. But something about this book and it's title caught my attention and I decided I want to pick it out and read it.
I don't really enjoy reading manga ... as I tend to just want to know what happens at the end instead of having to read everything since I don't like reading in general. I picked this book up one night and read it and before I knew it, I finished it all because I was so moved by the story. Though I will say it's pretty predictable if you pay attention to detail, you can figure out the whole plot by the first arc, even before it finishes. But that doesn't make it not worth a read as it has great character and I enjoy the dialogue exchange between the characters.
What is happiness is the question asked by the manga and they give different answer as happiness can not be defined just as one thing or another. Each person view of happiness changes according to their situation they are in but the most important part of happiness is this, that we share it with someone else. Happiness is about being able to share it with others because the saddest book is the one that's never read. A painting never admired.
If you know the author and the work they did like I want to eat your pancreas, which I think is amazing! I haven't gotten to the manga or light novel yet, I watched the anime and live adaption and I have the manga right now. I say it's worth watching them. You can see the same similar idea presented in both. The idea of connecting with others. So I wasn't surprised by the overall message and theme of this as I'm pretty aware of this person work. Which I loved, so it was nice to know this after I brought the manga already.
It's worth a read if this is the kind of stuff you're interested in. It is a pretty wholesome anime that I believe would be beautiful if it's animated with a few scenes that will be captivating to watch as in the manga I was amazed by it already. And a lot of moments just SMILED! It's one of those manga you just reflect back to life and remember how precious these moments you have left are with those you love.

This whole manga is kind of but not really an attempt to define happiness, which is something that can't really be defined as it is different for everybody.
The story bittersweet with a surprising twist that left the audience filled with multiple feelings at once and I'd be lying if I said I didn't cry, but maybe that had to do with the fact that I completed this at night alone.
Manga like this one are always some of my favorites because they get you thinking about them after you finish, because they have such a subtle and strong message.

Tell the story of a girl who has a duty to find the meaning of happiness, the girl has three friends of different age. Everyone view of happiness changes according to their situation. Everyone wants to be a happy person, however, what kind of person is said to be happy?

According to abazure-san happiness is thinking about someone sincerely, where when we think about someone sincerely your heart will feel full. According to Minami, happiness is being accepted, where her work can be accepted by many people. For grandmother happiness is when we can now say "I'm happy"

‘What is happiness?’

The introduction at the first page brought the readers a question consisting of three simple words, but somehow it was quite difficult to find a satisfying response. The respective answer would depend on social, religious, philosophical and educational variants, takes different shapes from person to person, and in conclusion, there is for sure no definitive model. Nevertheless, it is safe to say that for kids, it’s family and friends, young adults, relationships, and for the pillar of society, grown-ups, to have what essential and necessary, which could all be summed up in a short word, yet still hard to interpret, 'love'. That is ... to say, I had expected more. There was a girl who has three different mysterious friends, and among them was a rift of age. She sought for the happiness mentioned at the starting point, and with a little help from her friends, she managed to do it. What wrong there is just that the time stood still. It did wonder with the first book, when she found what is needed for a child. However, in the following cases, something felt unnatural to me, and I figured out the reason. It was rushed in a short span of time, and certainly it is too much, even for a child that clever. The course of actions could have been done better with her maturing, both outwards and inwards. Time would flow, the protagonist would expand her world, meet new people, and so on, her perspective about happiness would change, for the greater good, instead of how easy-going the work was. For example, the nine-year-old child would have a respective encounter with the seventeen teenager, the high schooler with the graduate, and as a part of my imagination for the end, the senior would give her wish to the then matured women. Still, there is no country for ‘When I’m Sixty Four’. XD

The following paragraph would be my pondering of the visualisation, which was a minor pleasure from the spent time. This manga was character-driven, therefore the focus on its cast was a given. As a result, the framework very often was just a small part of the surrounding, and though the shifts in point of view among panels didn’t leave me stand in awe as with Aria, the background was done with quite detailed portrayal, which spoke a lot of how carefully the illustrator approached her creation.

Reaching to the last pieces in my wall of text, although there were more left to be desire, at the very least I had got a comfortable read. The concept was just exciting, and if someone said they had found 'gold', then I wouldn't exactly disagree. Due to the shortness, I would still recommend people to give it a shot. Maybe they would find what they are searching for, or realise that there are more (to bring into discussion) than those that met the eyes, but nevertheless have a chance of getting thought-provoked.

This story is an absolute masterpiece, and no, this might not be the best manga I have ever read but I would still consider it a masterpiece, a masterpiece in comfort, I have never sat down to read a book and had such a comfortable time.

I feel like a few of the plot twists were a tad expected but I don't think that took away from the story at all, in fact it just made the experience all the more comfortable.

I found this piece by chance, not knowing who wrote the story or what's even written in the synopsis. It's marked as completed at 12 chapters long and at a glance, the art seemed nice so I decided to give it a go.

A charming story about the meaning of happiness, delivered through the unfolding life stories of three individuals as seen through the eyes of a little girl, who has her own life and worries.

I don't think it's useful to give the normal story/art/character ratings because that's not really what this is about. The characters and plot are a vehicle for the question and answer presented in this manga, "what is happiness?".

That's not to say the characters are flat or boring, we can all relate to someone in this manga. Perhaps we could have been one of these people if our lives had turned out a bit ...

What an amazing story. Very sweet and suitably melancholy. Essentially being the story of a little girl trying to understand the world around her and what happiness means. Honestly a lesson here for most of us, especially those of us more firmly entrenched in our own daily lives.

The characters are interesting and compelling, the story takes interesting turns but it never feels melodramatic, nor does it put any real weight on the twists it has. Actually this almost reminds me of fables, or allegorical tales. It's an incredibly relaxing tale that requires it's reader to read it earnestly and honestly.

You probably seen the other reviews and you might also be aware that this manga comes from the author of "I want to eat your pancreas" and "Kakushigoto", but unlike those previous works that I mentioned, this one is garbage, the only reason that I didn't rate this any lower, is because it's short and I'd rather read this again, than to watch SAO.
