Preliminary (4/45 chp)
If you loved Minami sensei's previous work, Nijiiro Days, or any of her previous works for that matter, then you'll love this one. It has everything that made Nijiiro Days so great. A sharp and beautiful art style, love-able characters, interesting premise, and a wonderful sense of immersion in the world.

However, unlike Nijiiro Days', this new story has a more meloncholy feel to it. It's not as sunny all the time and it looks like we will be dealing with more serious issues this time around. This manga is still very new so there isn't much to say, however, it has started very strong.

I couldn’t recommend this manga enough! Since around a year I’ve found it pretty hard to get into reading any new shoujo, mainly cause most shoujo are very much centered around high school and that’s just not as relatable to me anymore. I’ve had this shoujo sitting in my reading list for a while and seeing as it had a good number of chapters I thought I’d give it a go. To my surprise I got really hooked on the story and couldn’t stop reading it!

Unusual for shoujo it is set from a guys perspective and usually I don’t find those stories as entertaining, but ...

Shoujo, school, romance, drama are as cookie cutter as they get. These tags dominate the shoujo comic sphere. It has been done over and over again, with almost the same set up, plotline, only deviation is in the quality of the drama and the message of the comic. For Koi wo Shiranai Bokutachi wa, or We don't know love, it started really well.

I didn't quite emphasise how overdone the setup is, of all the shoujo comics on the top list, at least 60% of them have this premise. It can't be helped, it is the target audience, young girls. That being said, Koi wo Shiranai ...

What's great about this manga isn't the overall story or the premises. Yet, I found this manga great because of how relatable the characters are. Unlike the other shoujo manga with typical and cliche characters, this manga will offer you some characters that you can relate to. I love how all the characters have their own pov's and we can understand the reasoning behind what they did. Their traits are so likable and their action is reasonable. As a reader, I can easily empathize with the characters' feelings.

Humans are imperfect and can make mistakes, Including when dealing with love. They fall in love, make mistakes, ...

While the original premise and execution are borderline flawless, the story eventually suffers.

What this manga does well: great art, an intricately woven web of relationships, ridiculous amounts of pining, and pacing that stays engaging and compelling.

It seemed to have almost everything I could ask from a shoujo. I loved how various narratives all built on each other, and the drama was very well written. But about halfway through the series most of the cast had made themselves unlikable, either through cheating, possessiveness, or otherwise ugly or illogical behavior. I started out rooting for everyone and ended up hating most of them. Eventually I couldn't keep ...
