Harumi has been in the hospital practically her whole life. She has a life-threatening disease, and is kept inside at all times. Her life is incredibly mundane until she meets Masato, a new patient. He isn’t the best influence, being a heavy smoker and drinker, but since they’ve both got nothing better to do, they become friends. This humorous oneshot follows their meeting and the night they spend together, talking about what it means to die early.

The story revolves around a girl named Harumi who'vs been in the hospital for almost all her life. She's living a dull life, not knowing anything about the outside world.
But all that changes one day when a new patient, Masato is taken in. He appears to be a bad boy, always smoking and breaking the rules. Harumi however, isn't in the least scared to approach him and quickly they find that their lives are more alike than they thought.

The art is ok; the anatomy isn't always correct, but the mangaka manages to convey feelings and the atmosphere decently.

I must give this manga some merit because of the characters, which aren´t the typical shoujo characters, especially the girl who has a strong personality.

The story isn’t the typical shoujo school love story either (which is good), but there are serious problems with the plot. To be true, there is one big problem, which ruined the whole story, it threw me out of the story completely.

Harumi is expected to die of cancer in a few months. Having lived in a hospital since she was a little girl, she has experience little in life, until she meets Masato, a boy (a man, really, as read more

This manga is truly amazing. Nothing can describe how beautiful the story is. Comedy, drama, romance, adventure, action, and pretty much everything is incorporated into this epic manga. Here's the review:

1- Art: 10/10 I thought the art was pretty decent, it certainly wasn't picture-perfect like those typical detailed types of drawings. But, you know what? I loved it. The art was purrfect. :33 It was like the perfect mix, not too detailed nor messy. It was right in the middle like spring. And, that's when you know the mangaka did a terrific job when it came to the art.

2- Story: 10/10 The story was read more

Manga: Boys Love
Both of these are touching stories with the couples fulfilling their lifelong wish to see the sea. Except that Boys Love is a BL romance and rather rushed compared to Heaven's Door. These have live-action adaptions to them too.

Manga: Kyou no Kira-kun
Both about boy who is slightly mean and really sweet girl and one is dying. If you like the one you will defiantly like the other as it has the same kind of feel

Hold on a sec, the story wasn't Hongou Ranko's idea...
