SynopsisTen years ago, the mysterious Hell’s Gate suddenly materialized in the middle of Tokyo, and the stars of the night sky were obscured in darkness. In their place, new stars emerged, each corresponding to an individual endowed with supernatural abilities. Devoid of emotion and conscience, these powerful killers have come to be known as Contractors.
But most people know nothing of the Contractors in their midst, and high-schooler Kana Shinoh is no exception. Still struggling to pick up the pieces after her father’s death last year, Kana has never troubled herself with the rumors about Hell’s Gate. That is, until she spots her father in the street one day. Determined to prove her father is still alive, Kana begins her search, but her mission is attracting some rather dangerous attention. Fortunately, she is rescued from the clutches of death by Hei, the most wanted Contractor in Tokyo. Though he is unsympathetic to her situation, Hei agrees to protect her as she searches for her father. But just how much should she trust the Contractor known as the Black Reaper?

Well...What can i say? I haven't wrote a review in a while and i'm not that good at them, but i will try.As long as i can remember the most important thing about this manga is that it has nothing to do with the anime! There is another manga that (i think) folllows the story of the anime.The art is...well for me it's bad :D All the pages are blue and all...But there are only 9 chapters so you will survive it ^.^

Both are filled with people that have rare powers unlike the people around them and also have to do some almost meaning less after using them to keep their body in check.

Code Breaker is more like the Darker than Black anime than manga.
Both series has to do with a mysterious secret organization,and supernatural powers people.
Like Oogami in code breaker, the main character in darker than black is a mysterious assassin/agent code name Hei, who works for a secret organization. Hei is cold heart-ed and very dark but pulls off a fake smile when around others (like when Oogami is at school with his classmates.). He also have supernatural powers but also have a price to pay while after using them. Hei and Oogami both look alike and close in personality,wear close to the same outfits as each other, and they both have a similar goal in life, to find a certain someone.
