Synopsis

Haje Kang can't take it anymore. Pushed to the breaking point by relentless bullying, Haje stands at the edge of the school roof, ready to end it all. But just as he's about to jump, he's given a push—literally—by a mysterious upperclassman named Si-un Lee, only to wake up the next day, unscathed. Little does Haje know that Si-un happens to be one of the most powerful martial artists in the Murim, the hidden world of martial arts. Haje begs Si-un to train him, but he never could have imagined just how tumultuous things could get in the martial arts underworld...

This is the 3rd part of the Breaker series. It continues exactly from where the 2nd part left off a few years ago. By now many people may have forgotten the hype that Breaker 2 had. But this manga keeps up the good work.

The story continues in full colour, as a webtoon. Art is top notch as always, colour makes things even better. It was fun seeing the old characters— Elders of Sunwoo, Shioon, Mamoongi, Jinni, etc. nostalgic.

I'm making this review solely based on the 19 chapters that have come out so far, so if you're reading this in the future it might not be as accurate. I'm pretty sure most people who read the past 2 prequels were stoked when this came out (especially after how the new waves concluded) but so far, it's been a pretty disappointing read. The author decided to add another main character and so far we've seen the continuation of the story from this new main character's point of view. This comic is an atrociously bad and frustrating story told competently. I highly recommend against reading it.

For context, I have not reader the other parts of "the breaker," and wasn't even aware their were other parts until after reading the 33 chapters I have.

It starts with a protagonist that rapidly gets relegated to a side character... except the characters that get all the focus become increasingly insufferable as they take up larger parts of the narrative.
