Oh, oh, I did not expect to read this one, ya know. At first glance, I honestly hate the art, I feel like I can’t stand it. It took me like another year after discovering it just because I ran out of manga lol. Now I’m really glad I got through it and able to read this one. The art gets better each chapters and now I find them very pretty.

All I can say is this one is really not at all like what I’m expecting. I thought this one would be a heavy, serious, lack of romance type, but surprisingly not. With those ... amount of skinship, it’s totally lovey - dovey. The whole journey feels like those tv crime-comedy series, just with lots of romance. The story and how it’s concluded was done beautifully. I was kinda hoping the main story gets a bit darker though, since it would be exciting with the tense and so on.

If you’re like me, hesitating at first, then I recommend you to just go on read this one. It’s so good. This one is really typical shoujo. Those manga type that you can re-read once in a while.

This was a very sweet story, and I enjoyed reading it. The interactions between Kuze and Fuyuki were both comedic and heart-warming. While the story borders on cliche moments at times, I believe that adds to the charm of the story. Personally, the art style really suited my taste. The character designs, for Kuze especially, give me 90s vibes which really suit my taste. Despite enjoying this story overall there were some aspects of it that could use improvement. I believe that Fuyuki and Kuze's backstory could have really been developed better. While I did find the conclusion to Kuze's troubles to be satisfying it ... felt very quick and anti-climatic. Additionally, the pieces just felt like they fit together 'too' conveniently in regards to Kuze's 'villain'. However, how they concluded his character arc wasn't too bad. On the other hand, I was vastly disappointed in Fuyuki's backstory and how they concluded it... it felt too easy and almost cheap because of how easily she got a happy ending ( when clearly her situation was very complex). I would have rated this higher if the author concluded the manga and Fuyuki's backstory better, and covered it with more chapters. There were plenty of chapters with that seemed to be filler where they just went off to cases ( which has its own charm) but some of those could have been used instead to address Fuyuki's issues.

A basic, formulaic story with art that is overall usually pretty in a classic style. The couple was cute and had some good chemistry, but nothing in this story really stood out to me.

The main character's ESP / psychic powers were an interesting, unexpected draw at first, but like most things in this story, fell flat in execution.

The crimes were solved easily and didn't really add any tension to the story.

There was a creepy age difference of 9 years, with the MC being 17 and the ML being 26. I'm really not sure why the author chose to make her so young, ... as it had a very minimal effect on the story, and other than a creepy "wait until you're 18 and legal to date" (though they kiss plenty of times before that) plot, the story would basically be the same if she was a few years older, like in her early twenties.

If you're sensitive to this sort of stuff, there's a (possibly transphobic?) plot where a mtf trans woman murders two men (one of them being the doctor that did her transition surgery) who were blackmailing her because they knew her secret. There's misgendering, mentions of her being a man dressed up like a woman and that she's not a real woman. If this sounds triggering to you I recommend you don't read this.

In conclusion, this was a story that had potential but lacked in execution, leading to a lackluster story with problematic elements.
