| Since we were on a topic about that in the club comments, decided to create post. Normally in this kind of series there isnt much Romance involved, but after a few episodes. i can sense a hint of it. Okay for those whos reading the manga know more. But will there be romance in fairy tail? if so who do you think suits each other. well except that erza is mine...jk |

| From the anime, it seems like natsu and gray is abit too protective of erza so maybe expecting something from it :D |

| I read the manga and watch the anime and the hints I have seen are: Natus x Lucy Erza x Jellal Natsu x Lisanna Loke x Lucy Gray x Erza Juvia x Gray and a few others. I like: Natsu x Lucy ♥ Erza x Jellal ♥ Its vary clear Erza and Jellal like each other. As for the others, nothings 100% clear yet. It seems like Natsu just thinks of erza as a friend. I cant really tell if gray likes erza. (maybe?) Everyone knows Juvia likes Gray. And loke likes Lucy. Tho I dont think lucy likes him that way..>.> It seems like Lucy likes Natsu tho. and there have been small tiny hints that maybe Natsu likes her too. Tho natsu is the "happy" type. and not really aware of stuff like romance. But there have been moments where it really dose seem like Lucy likes him. Cares for him alot. In one of the late chapters theres a Nucy moment. ♥ its all kinda confusseing! >.< |

I read the manga as well as watch the anime and I haven't really seen anything to support a romantic interest in each other. She really doesn't show any more affection to Gray than she does to Natsu (and Natsu has saved her life a couple of times), she really just treats both of them like siblings, and I think that’s as far as their relationship is going to go. As for Loke x Lucy I agree this is totally one sided because Lucy shows absolutely no signs of interest in Loke, and when Loke says things trying to get Lucy to like him she basically ignores it or doesn't even notice. The relationships I think that show the most promise are: Natsu x Lucy (Lucy obviously has feelings for Natsu, it’s just up to Natsu if he's going to mature at all and realize this) Gray x Juvia (Started out as a one sided love but I think Gray is warming up to her. Also Natsu x Lisanna (Again I think Lisanna has feelings for Natsu but Natsu is too childish to realize it. Also I think the Anime/manga would lean towards the Natsu x Lucy pairing since Lucy is one of the main characters whereas Lisanna is a side character.) Erza x Jellal (Erza obviously has feelings for him although she also has hatred, but now that Jellal is no longer (or so it seems) possessed by an evil spirit, their relationship can move forward. Assuming Jellal gets released from prison anytime soon) |

| Since I did not see support for this pairing at all, I wish for Natsu x Erza to happen. I know...I know...you don't have to tell me..the probability of it is really low..but one can dream. As far as I can see it seems like Juvia x Gray, Evergreen x Elfman, Gageel x Levy and Charle and Happy are high probabilities, which I am fine with. I'm actually fine with Natsu x Lisanna, if it ends up happening. I'm completely against Natsu x Lucy though. I think Lucy x Loke, would be good though. I just don't want any main pairings to be so obvious because of the pairings in Rave Master.. |

I mean, it would be one thing if there was some twist to it, but it's played pretty much straight. One sided obsessive stalker (Juvia x Gray)? Again, I've seen this done so much, plus I don't really get the appeal of such a one sided relationship. Didn't like it in Bleach (IchiHime), didn't like it in Naruto (Hinata x Naruto) and I certainly don't like it here. *shrugs* I guess I just like different sorts of setups. I tend to like rivals become lovers, or two equally strong people who are partners, or a well done bitter sweet romance, or bickering romance~ Anyways, I'm really rambling, so I'll stop. ^__^;;; |
