| Lately I find myself back to anime but a lot of stuff typically in your average anime is something I want to avoid: - NOT about high school kids in a highschool environment or any younger kids in their environments. - NOT a lot of episodes. I can go up to 50, but anything longer than that is a big no-no. - NOT a slow paced show. Some series are qualified as action but has a bunch of ridiculously long dialogues (Index, Katanagatari) that feels lacking in purpose. Or some slice of life shows has absolutely no plot-driven material (Aria) - NOT overdosed with pointless fanservice or excessive moeblobs. - (preferably) NOT horror. I don't find killing a bunch of people for the sake of scaring me as something I'd enjoy in. - NOT too old. My threshold is probably at 2000. Unless it has exceptional animation like Akira. - The MC isn't a complete and utter idiot. - Something extraordinary. I mean literally extra ordinary. I don't really want a series about people doing mundane things talking about mundane events. It can be something supernatural, it can be a scifi, it can be about a fantasy universe, etc. - Actually ends. Not really in the mood for something that MIGHT have more seasons or forever lost in anime and forced to read manga/novels/VNs to make up for it. Thanks for reading. |
