What "old school" anime are you in the middle of watching these days, or just finished?

Right now I'm watching Zeta Gundam - don't know if it's quite as amazing as some are making it out to be, but it is very good.

If you're into old school (which I presume you are, otherwise you wouldn't be here :D) you'll love it. I don't think that it is overrated at all. Watch also double zeta after it, well you would do so either way.

I'm not watching anything besides ongoing fansubs;
Queen Millennia,
Layzner,
Candy Candy,
Captain Harlock SSX,
Red Photon Zillion
Ai Shite Night

Rewatching Touch and LOGH DVD new encondes from Central anime. :)

The original is interesting! However I didn't watch Glass Mask (2005), so I cannot compare both. Too bad that the only english subbed version is very sux. The resolution is 320x240, unfortunately. :/

Having recently just plowed through Maison Ikkoku rather quickly, I decided to take up the task of going through Urusei Yatsura about a week ago. Currently a little over halfway through the 195 episodes.

Just started Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water. Highly imaginative series, and a lot of fun. It's by Gainax, but less crazy and more whimsical than what they're known for these days. More Laputa/Castle in the Sky than it is Gurren Lagann.

I guess that Gainx started those experimentations on Otaku No Video from 91. Pretty straightforward stuff for the time.

Aside from those titles I mentioned above, I'm currently following more or less ongoing subs of;
Heavy metal L-Gaim http://myanimelist.net/anime/2598/Heavy_Metal_L-Gaim
Galient http://myanimelist.net/anime/5153/Panzer_World_Galient
Goshogun http://myanimelist.net/anime/2510/Sengoku_Majin_Goushougun

No!!! you 're watching Hiatari Ryoko?? (theo ou la batte de la victoire)? I remember the nice storyline but I have never seen a anime where the character faces and design look so much similar like this one! They are all clones :-)

I am watching Saint Seiya, I rediscovered it after seen the first episode of the new Saint Seiya Lost Canvas (Which I recommend you guys to watch)

To RobdeFR : you talked about Armor hunter mellowlink, it is related to Votoms? how is the original Armoured troopers votoms?

Sorry for the late answer.
The relation with mellowlink and the Original Votoms series is that Mellowlink is also set on the after war period of the same universe. I've not seen any similar characters though.

I didn't find Zeta Gundam to be very good. The original Mobile Suit Gundam was outstanding though.

I saw two 70s anime, Kyouryuu Daisensou Izenborg and The Ultraman. They’re both great.

I’ve seen a few 80s anime. Tsurikichi Sanpei, Hyakujuu Ou Golion, Kikou Kantai Dairugger XV, Dirty Pair, Dragon Ball, Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball Z, Tenkuu Senki Shurato, Yoroiden Samurai Troopers, and Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru. I love the 80s anime. I’m planning on watching Cat’s Eyes in Monday.
