okay, i'm actually on episode 24, but i'll keep this relevant... what a sudden plot device to put Asuna on a bus out of the anime :p but, it was hard to feel sad, though it was sad, but it was more like "what's going on? did that just happen?" ... kind of like how when a certain someone died in Clannad and even though there was hints that the person really died, you just were not quite sure if such a thing would happen to a main character.

but the thing that bugged me most is that it's not explained by the end of the next episode what exactly even happened, who that demon was, why it was going to kill Asuna, it's like "here, this happened, accept it, don't ask questions".

fyi people, each adaptation of Negima is different, there's a lot of differences, in this anime, Negi has only made pactio with Asuna so far, and Konoka and Setsuna are not obvious lesbians like they are in the manga :p point is, stop pointlessly complaining about this adaptation if you're a manga reader, so discuss what's happening in the manga on the manga boards.

though, if i may cross reference a tad bit myself, i really like this anime versus the Negima!? spin-off, this one feels much more serious, though not as much mystery and action, i can live without the excessive allusions and parodies that Shaft shoved into that series, but most of all, most ooooffff aaaalllll i am so happy that Negi hasn't kissed the entire class in a pactio yet ;D

After few average episodes comes this episode full of drama ... Asuna is dead ... finally something serious is happening.

I'm looking forward for the next episode(I hope I get to see more drama).

Well, I really liked this series a lot....that is until this episode.....my favorite character in this anime has been killed with no real explanation as to why. I would have given this a 6/7 out of 10 up until this episode. If she is not written back into the story in these last 3 episodes it will completely ruin it for me and my score overall will undoubtedly reflect that. To be honest Asuna was the reason I have enjoyed this anime as much as I have and if the last 3 episodes of the season do not see her return my score will drop to a 3 or 4. The episode gets a 1/10 because there was simply no need to kill the main female character of the series so pointlessly.

There is still 3 episodes left to go, wow your so quick to judge something as being terrible when it has not even been explained yet.

I thought it was nice, to finally have an unexpected development for a change

Well sudden turn of events but i bet she will get resurrected, she is the mc after all and has a pactio with negi ;) cant wait for the explanation as we only saw some flashbacks but no proper explanation this does keep it interesting in my opinion since you want to find out, they fail if they dont explain it tho

Yue always looks so bamboozled whenever she has to interact with Negi.

It's not only odd that they'd assume it was her birthday, but also that no one in the class knew it wasn't actually her birthday. Haven't at least some of them been in the same class for awhile?

Asuna got got! I imagine she'll be reborn or brought back before too long though. Magical school and all that.
