Not saying he's bad just odd. But anyways I loved this episode. the first couple of eps were enjoyable but now it seems its finally starting to pick up. |

| Battousai the man slayer. It was nice to finally see a glimpse of the old Kenshin. Jinei was so enlightened that he took his own life, what a guy. Also, Kenshin's fear of himself seems like it's going to be an important issue later on. Looking forward to that development. |

| Battousai-mode = ON. Jinei was definitely impressive but Kenshin was just a bit better. Just a bit. :p At least they didn't drag this out for 6 or 7 episodes. |

| Oh gosh, I know it was a really dramatic moment but when Kenshin was like, "You've got to hold on, that you do!" and "You'll be all right, that you will!" I COULD NOT STOP LAUGHING. The Yoda speak is too damn strong. That said, although I respect Kenshin for what he did and understand his inner war, I really wish he would've killed that crazy old fuck himself. I'm hoping some type of development will come about where he realizes that a time will come where killing will be necessary, and doing so won't turn him into "Battousai the Manslayer" once again. |

| The whole time, I was just wondering why Kenshin wasn't checking if Kaoru was fine. It lasted way over 5 minutes after he casted his spell... And he even if she didn't died, he did said that it was a painful death, so she must have been in pain for a damn long time. Poor her :| The serial killer made suddoku! Goddamn suddoku, one time relaxing us with puzzle, the other time killing us because of SHAME. Yeah, I know that it wasn't a seppuku. The serial killer was wrong on a lot of points though, as seen in the prequel. That dream Kaoru made was cute :3 Ahhh, maidens in love... |

| I think this was kind of the 'turning point' episode for me in terms of getting hooked. The romance development was pretty cute (although of course there's the requisite Ranma-esque comedy bit at the end where the girl gets mad, to make sure things go "back to normal" and it doesn't develop too fast...) I kept hearing "Jinei" as "Janae" :P |

| Pretty intense episode I must say, that ending was was interesting. I somewhere did hope he would've slayed him but I guess that will take a bit longer :p |

| A bit cheesy, but overall a good episode. Kenshin's killer voice was kind of harsh. I'm not sure what I think of it. I assume it will become more natural sounding as the show goes on. It was a good choice to hear a different voice though anyway. |
