I have a fair share of love for both too.
Since both have different over-all approach and it's quite refreshing reading one type to the other.
Good variations to the readers who gets bored easily with all and what not.

i don't care if is manga or manhwa, i'm just angry that manhwa is soo much harder to get translated english verzion (bouth fan and licensed)
since i realy like few manhwa, but translation is few vol. behind and on iregular bases.

my sentiments exactly. Although, I do love the art I find in manhwa more so than manga art (unless that manga art isn't your mainstream style).

In most mangas i read the girl i scrying ALL the freakin time but in most of the manhwas i've read the girl barely cries and usually can kick a lot of ass :)

I like both equally. But it's nice to balance it out somehow after reading bunches of manga, it's nice to have a different feel when I read a manhwa.

I like manhwa the most. Even if i readed more mangas than manhwas, the art in manhwas is more detalied, more stilish, and the story is completed with the art. When you see the characters, you can easy understand their feelings by their facial expression..

I hope I will read more and more manhwas :).

sorry for bad english >.<

It doesn't mather for me, which one is it, i'm reading. I started to read with manga. So I'm used to read manga but when I found out there was manhwa.. it was interesting.

Anyway, I don't understand: Why manhwa and manga drawing styles are different. I'm sure it would happen to you too, when you saw a manhwa drawing you could say "whoa, it should be from a manhwa"

I started with mangas, I read guite a lot and I thought they were the best but when I read Totally Captivated I totally fell in love with the characters, they are soooo cute! The plot is awesome as well!
Unfortunatly not all manhwas are like that:(
Some manhwas drawing are really terrible (Even thought You're So Cool's plot is incredible, the drawing is just no good)

MANGAs and MANHWAs are both okay for me because they share the same essence. Anyway, it depends on the series that you’re currently reading.

i tend to think that some manhwa have a better storyline lately than manga... probally b/c ive just been looking for something to read and all the manga kinda seem the same to me. certain manga i like the art better. and i think that it depends on the manga/manhwa artist too.
