What a great last episode :D It was great to see everyone (and especially the kendo club member seeing Makoto LOL XD), and them getting ready and doing the ceremony was super interesting :3 Then the scene at the end ... aww, young Makoto was so cute :') Great ending! Really enjoyed the episode :D

Overall, this show was super calming to watch and gave me warm fuzzy feelings XD Loved pretty much all the characters (except Haru ... that voice >_<) and it was nice to see how they all changed throughout the show. The animation was good (a bit messy at times though), and the music was too. Really liked how they didn't really try to shoehorn any romance in, but I think even if they did they would've done it well. Enjoyable to watch and great ending! Bumped it up from a 7.5 to a 8/10 :D

It was a pretty average anime of 5/10.
I really was craving more backstory on Kinjiro or to learn more about other heralds, to be honest.

Nice to watch something with family values and charming, it is good to take a break from heavy stuff.

Shinto is... very foreign. Not into religion at all but I can appreciate how Japan deals with it.

This was one of the greatest slice of life anime I've seen. An absolute delight. Such a comfy wholesome show all the way through. I loved all of the characters, I wish there was more.

I liked it but it was like something was missing the entire time. The plot was all over the place. There were many relationships blossoming and yet none came to fruition.

It seemed like the only point was to push Shintoism.
There was a lot of interesting Shintō practices and customs explained. But it was a slice of life with a hodgepodge plot.

Didn't expect anything from this but I enjoyed it. Was slow paced but that's ok, will look up the manga.

I thought Haru's devotion to Satoru and his family was really nice. And their personalities improved as the show went on. It was an easy watch and nice to see something without a load of fake dramas thrown up all over the place. Nothing wrong with those shows but this was a nice change of pace.

Gingitsune is a nice cute and charming anime.  Its really chill without being fake. All the characters are loveable.

However, Its episodic nature can make it difficult to watch more than one episode per day, and it can be a difficult anime to rewatch.

Im glad they kept this anime to just 12 episodes. I would have lower it to 10 episodes, but whateva.

Still surprised theres no OVA/special episode. And im surprised we didnt get to see Kinjiro make a return. Im also surprised we never got to see the dad of the glasses girl returning, and it would have been nice to gotten some development on the mother of the glasses girl.

In a way, due to its relaxing slice-of-life nature with episodic setting, the feel and experience of this anime reminds me of a 2005 anime called Lamune

This show really only takes off once Satoru and Haru are introduced. Both of them became so fundamental to the shows dynamic that both of them became the "real" MC's! That's how boring & unoriginal & bland Makoto is!

And what about Gintarou? Yeah what about him? Why is he even here? He doesn't do anything, doesn't say anything deep & meaningful if for some reason he decided to get up, pack a bag and just leave half way during, I dunno, episode 6/7 no one would have missed him one bit.
Me every time I hear the word "reparations": 🤣🤣🤣

I like the cultural aspect and Haru-sama and Gin's occasional pat-pat to her head.

I hate that shameless girl seducing older dudes and the other lowlife slut, also ass gropping uncle.

I feel like Gin, I had enough of them bs.
