| I had friends tell me about this one, but have been putting off watching it. That was a mistake. This first episode had great animation, action, script and sets up the plot of the series perfectly. I can't wait to watch the rest. |

| After I was finished watching this episode first I checked on Internet the data abou Afro Samurai Game. I have to buy it. It's so cool! As regards for this episode I don't dare to say that is excellent. It's a good start of story and all that but something is wrong here. i don'r know exactly what but it is something. |

| This is freakin' awesome. I loved the first episode. And it has great dubbed (I mean besides Samuel L., who we already knew was gonna be awesome.) The story isn't complicated, and the visuals are great. So looking forward to the rest. |
| Am I the only one who found this to be rubbish? People are actually complimenting the script and the story, really? The animation was fairly good, but every other aspect was mediocre. - Voice Acting (Admittedly, I usually only watch subs, but they're not available) - Language (Too much use of 'Mother Fucker' and shit like that. I normally don't give a flying fuck about how people speak, but this was just irritating) - Story (Seriously? My father was killed, I want revenge. Could it be anymore cliche?) I'm going to finish this simply because it's so short, but I'm not giving my hopes up. |

| The plot seems pretty weak, but I started watching this for the amazing artistic work, and so far it idn't disappoint. This somehow has a Ninja Scroll feeling to it, not a genius movie, but pretty entertaining. |

| Basic storyline with basic characters, but good comedy with very good fights. Enjoyment level is up high, but when thinking about teh ratingz, I don't think it'll be more than 6/10. 4/5 for the motherfucking episode. EDIT: Woot, no poll? |
| While it doesn't seem to stray too far away from the standard formula of a typical action flick it still can prove itself to be quite entertaining nevertheless. The good animation and the interesting idea of embedding the samurai theme into a modern setting are enough for me to keep watching. |

Fucking RPGs Fucking Samuel L Jackson How can you go wrong And it's somewhat annoying to see people rating this show on it's "cliche" plot-line or whatever, the plot is not what this show is about at all. Of course the plot is terrible! If it wasn't for The Samuel, however, I'm sure this show would have less value to me. I normally don't watch English dubs. But Samuel L. Jackson. |

| Hmm, I kinda like that OP song.. >The path of a warrior should take and its reward should become a God. I love this quote. Overall, action seems decent. Animation seems a bit wary though but I like the style. Afro is a BADASS. |

| Ok... this is totally brutal. That guy is no joke, but he is really badass. And now everybody wants to take him out? ... This is gonna be interesting. The art is amazing (and different). | Mother fucking RPGs in a mother fucking backpack! Ohh man, this takes me back. A must rewatch for sure, the fights are really wacky and fun. Even if the dialogue is ultra cheesy, it's still just a wild ride. |

| That was a pretty cool first episode, I love SamLJackson as Ninja Ninja, "is that a mfckin RPG!?" The fights are a bit sloppy though, the camera is just all over the place so it's kinda hard to follow whats happening when he's facing so many guys at the same time. Other than that it's a joy to look at. |
