L was like my favourite character so I was happy when Light got what he deserved but I suppose it's a good thing becuase it makes it so different from other animes. |

| When L died: I fell of the chair. I stared at the ceiling and thought:'This must be one of his plans to get Kira.' So I watched the episode again to be certain that he fell of and didn't move. After that I watched the next episode and the next and came to the conclusion that it wasn't one of his smart acts. That when I thought:'NOOOO Whyyyy... What will happen now...' When Light died: 'REVENGEEEE!!! L shoudln't have died in the first place! You shoud've and then you still act like you cared!' *poked my computer screen* and after that I thought that it was rather weird that both the main chara's died. |

| When L died, I kept turning the pages faster cause it was getting suspenseful but I still hated it cause L and Ryuk were pretty much the only characters I liked. When Light died I laughed. I never liked him from the start. He was too arrogant and too caught in his selfish ways to become a god, he ultimately got what was coming to him. |

| L was was my favorite character ever, but his death scene was very well done, so I approved but was somewhat disappointed. It was still an amazing scene and I loved every second of it. I liked Near alot less than L and so when he finally defeated Light I was pretty angry for a few seconds. However, this was mainly because I didn't think it was fair that Near should succeed where L had failed, and the method he used seemed kind of cheap. Nevertheless, I had pretty much known Light would die from the beginning (Ryuk had hinted as much) so I wasn't really surprised. |
| When L died, I actually went back and read the same part again to make sure what I thought happened actually did... I had a feeling Light was gonna die, but the way he did it seemed rather sucky, he kinda started going a bit crazy and whiney, which was a little annoying. Why all the Near hate =\, I LIKE Near's character, but I seem to be alone =(. Mello sucks though, never have liked him. Good thing he died too =P. |

| I really don't want them both die especially L because L is really kind hearted and really cool! And Light is only a victim of death note's power like Misa. I was really shock when L die because in the movie he didnt die first.. Honestly, I cry when he died. And when Light die I'm kind of disappointed because he did not repent on what he did. |

When Light discarded Death Note and both he and his father were in prison (or something similar) he was absolutely merciless for Light (not to mention what he did to Misa). When they were investigating Yotsuba group and team split in two because they didn't like each others methods, L used Misa's love for Light to make Light join his investigation team (wow, that sure was really kind of him). And that "rainy" episode where L wipes Light's legs with towel. If someone considers that "kind hearted" give it a second thought. L was just lonely, really lonely and he wanted to develop stronger "friendship" with Light, in other words he just wanted to feel better by having someone to talk to (thats not kind hearted at all). L sure was smart kid, but I don't like moe character like him. Although I'm not saying that I don't respect him. |

| When I first watched L died in the subs, I was too shocked to react but when I watched it in the dub I got a bit teary eyed. With Chief Yagami I was just a bit sad but not much, I haven't read the manga so I didn't know much about him. But when I first saw him I took a instant liking to him, so when I saw he died I was first shocked then for some reason I cried a little. With Mello I cried just a bit, and lastly with Light I was emotionless I didn't want to laugh, or cry because frankly I think its sad that he had to go the way he did, but I cant say that I wasn't happy that he died. |

| I was shocked when L died. I didnt cry, but I did get really ticked off at Light. I wasnt shocked at all though when Takada died. I pretty much knew from the start that she was just anohter one of Lights Pawns to be played in his game of Chess. |

| I'll be honest, when L died I didn't believe it at first. I was like oh he faked it... or something. Then when he wasn't around 2 episodes later I like starting crying. I was like NOOOOOOOOOO. ;_______________; When Matt died I didn't give a damn. He barely did anything. When Mello died, I was like, :/. That sucks. But it didn't phase me that much. | When L died I was really sad...I liked his character the best out of all the characters. I thought maybe it was a trick at first...but it was so depressing when I realized he was actually dead! I loved all of his odd habits. When Light died I was a lot more upset than I thought I would be, since I had never been a Kira supporter. I actually felt really bad for him! |
