The manga version is ending and still no sign of season 3. Sigh.

The movie was a success, they should have followed it with season 3. Oh well.

I thought because of all the voice actor drama any franchise with Aya Hirano was over.
One of the most common but also the biggest misconceptions from western fandom. I would just say: STOP SPREADING FALSEHOOD !!!!! Why don't you check what seiyuu works Hirano has recently done before posting this??

So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

Yeah-yeah. She toned her seiyuu career a bit because of the issues with the former production agency but it never was over or even close to it.

I just say that adapting the "text" source into the animation(or live action) is one thing and the necessity here is obvious but adapting one "text" source into another is just additional milking and it didn't make any real sense.

Hmmmmm, then maybe the reason for adapting a LN into a manga is because the manga industry is bigger than the LN, which I guess you can call milking too but, since alot of people read mangas and not LNs, it probably has the same effect as animes (even if not nearly as much but still) - basically increasing the range of that particular series.

It may not have to make complete sense, but as long as it increases the amount of ppl who know about the series and sales too, it does what its supposed to, I guess.

But my post was not about necessity of such a thing just about that it's not worth mentioning in the news.

Are you talking about the news forum here? As far as I've seen, MAL mentions news of anything related to the anime/manga industry, including the people in them.

As for this particular news, it may be about an adaptation of the original LN, but I'm sure there are people who've only read the manga and not the LN, so it may not be really important to some people but it can still be important to others.

Hey, I do like the art from the manga. I does look different, but not necesarily bad.
Also, I don't care much about the manga ending, but maybe it could serve as a beacon to light up some interest and maybe, just maybe hint at the possibility of a new season or movie ;_;

The art looks like a turkey that gave an abortion with 5 heads 3 legs and is shit colored.

But hopefully the author will come out with more stuff, I don't want to wait another 2 years. I mean, it really got me pumped up when volume 11 came out, but the wait has been so lng and still no anime adaptation. Even a relatively obsessive fan like me has forgot about it.
