| Which fansubs you like most for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni/Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai seriers. Who is best in your opinion? As for me, i chose WinD fansubs for first series and i think they were pretty good. They took second season too, but got problems with translators so they are slow, so i watch Hauu~ subs. They done good job too, especially that they release h264 encodes. Altrought they sometimes do spelling misstakes. Hauu~ also got previews in their encodes and as you know (or maybe not), previews are available only on Higurashi website. |

| I've been pleased with Ayu in the past so I got them for the first season. For the second season, I got Ayu for the ones they released then I'll probably watch Hauu~'s once I get that far |

| WiND for 1st season, Phlianthropy for 2nd, til they started to go on hiatus, then I switched to WiND, then un fortunately their encoder's comp broke, then I switched to Hauu~. (such a hectic twist, lol) I just don't like mkvs, due to the use of AMVs |
| When I watched the first season for the first time, I watched it with WinD subs. I downloaded the Ayu subs though. As for Kai, I went with Hauu~ but will probably download some higher quality episodes at some point. |
