| So, Minami-ke started airing a month after Lucky Start ended in 2007. I can definitely see the similarities, but in comparison, Minami-ke is ever so slightly perverted with an ever increasing tendency to put its characters in verbally compromising situations. Not exactly what I expected, but then again, I wasn't sure what to expect from this show other than slice-of-life comedy. So far, the show has been about idiots being idiots, or idiots being perverted, and I'm not exactly sure how many ways there are to mix up this formula. Regardless, Minami-ke is still fun and charming, but I'm not sure what else it can do. |
